Tough spot at FT
I mean, as played it's a fold, but I don't particularily like much of what you did in the hand. I think 3b here >40bb deep is pretty marginal(understand we're 7 handed, still a pretty marginal get in, especially when you say he's been playing solid). Assuming we 3b pre, I'd give real consideration to checking back the flop...which although we made top pair, is an absolute nightmare vs his 3b calling range. Understand that can put us in tricky spots on a heap of turns, but I probably want to go down that road more than I do bet/fold flop(which is really the only other option because bet/call ...

UTG limp re-raise
*For clarities sake I'll disclaimer this with the following: Yes, AA/KK is certainly very possible here* However, a lot of people are just assuming AA/KK without looking at what we know. Understandably it's under a small sample of just 23 hands, but since that's all we have to go on, it's deffinitely worth noting the dude runs a 26/4, so his intial limp does not in any way immediately equal AA/KK. He could easily have limped a bunch of other stuff, and then decided to go with it. We also have an A and K blocker... Also, I know you said you wanted more detail, but I think the bottom line ...

The Lederer Files (Pokernews Intv)
The camera angle edits are covering up edits/splices in what he said. I work as an editor at a TV network, it's the "oldest trick in the book" so to speak, if you are editing someone's answer you can't keep the video on him or the viewer will see the jump, so you cut to shots of the interviewer to cover the jump/cut in what he's saying. All I'll say is I know they said it went on for 7 hours or whatever and they trimmed it down, I didn't bother watching all that much of it, but what I watched was dissapointingly edited rather liberally.

TDA Tournament Rule on minumum raise sizing
@Tilted0o: In this context the rule wasn't used properly, but the reason UTG2 wasn't allowed to re-raise is because they thought(incorrectly) that the short all-in did not make a proper sized re-raise, and thus betting had not re-opened. If blinds are 1k/2k, and you raise to 4k, and someone moves all-in behind for 5k, and another player calls, you can only call because the 5k jam wasn't enough to constitute an actual re-raise and therefore doesn't re-open betting.

Did I make a bad fold?
Yes. Neverminding his range, being 22bb deep and 3-bet folding for 5 of them is really spewy, if you're not intending on going with the hand, just fold it. You chose the worst possible line preflop...

Jonathan "FatalError" Aguiar's Argument with WSOP Officials
All arguments in favour of this rule are stupid to an insane degree. 1 - Makes the broadcast better. Oh hellz ya! "Bet", "fold", "fold", "fold", "call", "raise"....wow those broadcasts are gonna be cooking with gas in no time. 2 - Easier to follow for the viewers. The dealers verbally speak the bets anyway. So does the floor. So do the people commentating in the booth. Really' This is an argument' It's stupid, it's insane, and I'm glad it apparantly is already now merely a "suggestion" and not a rule.

Edge shooting or playing the game.
Right, and none of your conspiracy theories have anything to do with the question. The question he asked was is it angle shooting to play the hand out and not point out the mistake...and the answer is a very emphatic Yes.

Edge shooting or playing the game.
How about we simplify whatever the hell double_kyan was talking about and go with this... If a dealer makes a mistake and you see it, point it out to them. Mistakes happen, and although I'm still not really sure what the hell he was doing as someone pointed out it makes no sense for him to need to make change, the fact is they happen, and trying to take advantage of them is the very definition of angle shooting, and scummy. It's really not that hard...

Pokerstars Purchases FTP???
I grant you that I don't know all the "legalese" of exactly what they should, and should not be able to say, etc etc, but after Daniel Negreanu all but led a torch weilding mob to the homes of FTP heads for staying silent for so long, you can't tell me they can't simply say they're working on something, or there'll be more. It's so insane to me that there are so many people that are so sick of all the absolute relentless stream of rumours and ups and downs through this whole thing and not one single person anywhere can simply step up and tell us what's going on.

AA early in stars 320$ 80K
Yes. Everyone here needs to take a step back and ask themselves, what is he actually trying to sell you on here' What 5X is he ever min-raising UTG and flatting a big 3-bet with a player behind him to act still' Basically none, and if he did and smashed the flop, then I guess he gets your stack and hats off to him. If he has 77, why would this be his line' He's basically repping an overpair, and since you have the "over-est" of the pairs, you're not ever folding ever. Still think there's a case to be made for flatting turn here too btw...

AA early in stars 320$ 80K
In the spirit of the thread since the question was "can we ever fold'", the answer is no. In a larger blanket, your focus is too narrow, I wouldn't shove either. I flat. It keeps total air in his range, and under-reps your hand so that when you eventually call down if he goes the entire way with it, he's value betting worse into you as well.

Flatting vs. Shoving ... online psych
I certainly hope it goes without saying that continuous shuffle vs predetermined has absolutely no effect on anything. The notion of "timing" a random event is asinine, and mostly everyone on FTP knew that, and had no problem with it because any thinking person could see that random continuous or random predetermined is still at the end of the day random, which is all that matters.

P5s ranking is garbage imo.
What Pghfan said... Yes there are alot of options for non-US players, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't a fairly large percantage if we held a poll that just play on pokerstars. Outside of the fact that they came out of Black Friday smelling like roses and that security is nice, frankly alot of the other sites are a real hassle to get money on and off of...and with stars offering as many good daily's as they have now, there's not a huge need to go anywhere else, so I'm sure there is a large # of regs that are only playing stars right now.

Flush_Entity triple crown watch
I was railing Flush_Entity earlier today when he won the Euro Rebuy on betfair for $9100(as well as the $12k gtd for $3.3k). This past Tuesday he won a tourney on party for ~$3k, so any tourney win by Tuesday on stars gets him the TC... Right now he's 3/16 in the $30 2r for a chance...

Whats the play here?
You're overthinking the hand. You have a hand with gigantic equity, you're not especially deep and the pot is laying you a great price in a situation where you're never not drawing live. Just jam your chips in. Sounds weird to say "it doesn't matter what they have", but with your stacks, the pot that big, and that hand on that flop, it really doesn't.

Article: Full Tilt Poker May Have $128 Million in Uncollected Funds
This is just dumb. If you played high stakes MTT's, or even worse, high stakes or nose-bleed cash, you needed alot of money online. Poker's a game of swings, and sometimes they can be pretty brutal. To think that anyone that had a significant sum of money on a poker site when it was their profession, is just flat out stupid.

In the money $5 (2R+1A)....tricky spot with aggressive line. feedback appreciated.
Don't see a problem with the hand. Since you're 3-betting in position you can size it smaller than that...7800-8100 range I'd say. Obviously you call the flop, he can have so many hand combinations there still, you flopped a flush and have a redraw OESFD.
