A True Grinder's Journey Unemployable. U seem frustrated. Read your first few posts. Maybe it will remind u of the goals u set at 1st and how u wanted to write a thread so u could revisit some ur posts. I been keeping up with this thread since day one. Staking Dispute Question Hey I dont know you. So this is coming from someone who knows neither of you. I believe you the backer should have gotten her the money. You didnt. I think its upto you to communicate. I think you need to just chalk this up to lesson learned. Unless it was common practice for you and her to always pay late then you deserve no money. You said this was a random backing. I believe the onus is on the backer to make sure funds are secure into players hands. Sucks that plans got screwed up. Because everything else got effected. Live cash game degenerates Last week I was at the poconos this one guy would call any size bet whenever he would make a pair or have any sort of draw I stayed till he blew all his money. There was couple loose cannons too. Time before that I was in ac and these 2 guys kept arguing bout who had bigger balls. So the one drunk kept going all in blind pre flop for 200-400 whatever he had in front him. It's like heaven when these drunks or degens are at the table. The all in guy got called by his arguing table mate. All in guy k2. Beats the calls ace q. Oh it was funny after The ace q guy actually punched ... Posted in: Live Poker |

i need more discipline Whenever I play it's usually for atleast 8-12 hrs. I can't sit too long. I lose concentration like u describe. I get up atleast once an hour for 5-15 minutes and take walk. I people watch as they gamble. Then I go back to play more poker. After about 8 hrs my breaks don't help as much lol. Going Sunday to poconos. Gl to me lol. Was there 2 weeks ago played 1:30pm-10pm and walked out +950. Was great. Don't play casino games that's my downfall during my breaks. I donate poker winnings to casino. Wondernig thoughts on tip sizing at live 200nl I tip every pot I win over $20. $1-$2. If I won pot for $400+ I tip 3-5. Win 1000 tip 7ish I don't understand why some are pointing to the fact they tip the drink lady more then the dealer. What's that supposed to mean' One thing I don't like is when the dealer doesn't say thank u every time he gets a tip. Some of them look towards the winning player waiting for the tip. If my dealer doesn't say thank you 90% the time I stop tipping. Though barely ever has happened. I just hate feeling like a tip is expected vs appreciated. Ray Bitar speaks out... Sadly a huge percentage of people complaining about FTP will also be back playing there given the chance. Even if people only got partial refunds they would probably still play FTP given the chance There is huge discrepancies in what people say vs actually do I can't believe that none of these thiefs have gotten a beat down or been murdered. PokerStars - do they systematically steal money from players accounts? I agree with wacky. However I dont think they will blacklist you. I would possibly let them know that you feel your only option is to do a chargeback if they cant help you in locating the funds. I am surprised your CC company is not giving you grief for depositing on stars. Sites dont exchange a list of chargeback clients. Not that I am aware of. I actually did it to bodog and now im banned. I have not been able to pay them back yet as none of my cards work now with them. So I have to do western union. However they told me once I bring my acct back into positive they will open me right back ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

PokerStars - do they systematically steal money from players accounts? Dispute the charge there is no time limit sort of. 2 1/2 months is fine to still dispute. Sometimes I get an asshole customer make a dispute a year later because he forgot he bought something. Easiest solution is to dispute charge and the money will be returned to your acct immediately. PokerStars - do they systematically steal money from players accounts? Sometimes it takes 2 months to show on your billing statement. When I refund a customer they dont see it for 2 months however their balance on their credit card is immediately refunded/debited the amount of refund. Perhaps thats whats happening to you. Leading you to believe no refund is processed. If not the case then simply dispute your credit card charge. Simple Posted in: Poker Sites |
