Re(2): AA Late In MTT
wayyyyy too good of a price to fold here. i'd shove turn all day for value too (and i'd probly just open shove the flop). i don't plan on ever folding AA with 30 bbs left going to the flop with 20 in there already.

Re(1): WCOOP Event 7 Deep Stacked KK---Seeking good players opinions
Flop bet needs to be bigger. The part of villain's range that is giving you action on this flop includes a lot of combo draws. It's not like 6k is fooling 77 into calling. It also sets up a turn shove much better. Turn play is good you can't fold. FWIW I also like raising more in a button v. blind situation, not because we want him to fold but because it might induce a 4-bet. I don't think it's a big deal though. Obviously button's call is fine preflop. Postflop sure he's gonna have QJ sometimes, but we're going broke to it everytime so might as well discount it from his range and try to ...

Re(5): Bubble Trouble
Beauregard: you must be leveling. the fact that the shortstack is a shortstack and went all-in definitely gives us an idea of what he's holding. and don't forget that all those random hands make up soooo many more combinations than pairs (think about how much harder it is to be dealt a paired hand as opposed to an unpaired one).

Re(4): Awful Call
No it's just that ICM is not appropriate here. I gave some reasons why in my last post. Even if ICM says the call is +$EV vs. loose ranges, I'm assuming it will judge the call to be marginally so, when in reality it's huge +EV.

Re(2): Awful Call
Wow if I have AJo in this spot I'm SNAP calling. Like literally I have my mouse where the call button is so I can call as quickly as possible. I might even damage my mouse pressing so hard. ICM is great, but if it says that this is a -$EV money call, that's just evidence that ICM is not flawless. This is the easiest call ever. In a lot of bubble situations (one very short stack), I'll fight for ICM like no other vs. the people who just want to "play for the win." In this spot however, with blinds at 300/600 and the guy with 1700 not by any means a lock for 4th, I call this EVERYTIME. People ...

Re(6): Top sng players , please help?
Anyone who is opening for 600 in villain's spot is rarely folding to a shove, so I'd probly just fold, but ya his open is terrible as is his call.

Re(3): Could zeejustin get away from KK there ??
Ya apparently Haxton has been playing real LAG. Also, it was a button/small blind confrontation which makes a huge difference. I don't understand why people are saying zeejustin might not have respected Haxton's game so he called. It's gotta be the other way around, which is zeejustin giving Haxton credit for being able to have hands besides AA. To me, this is just a sick cooler nothing more.

Re(2): Play a hand with me
you want the money in as soon as possible, so either lead/3-bet all-in or c/r, whichever you think will work better. probly c/r vs. most preflop is really bad. you can 3-bet occasionally but i wouldn't make a habit of doing that at NL50 out of the blinds

Re(3): michael vick debate
Ok, you can do some guess work and say no qb is going to be successful in atlanta, fine. But just because Atlanta is terrible doesn't somehow make Michael Vick the 2nd best QB in the league. Those who say Brees and Rivers are better quarterbacks at least have some numbers to back up their claim, whereas all you're saying is that Atlanda minus Vick is awful but that they've still had a reasonable winning percentage with him as quarterback. If Vick somehow gets traded to a good team or the Falcons get better, then maybe your assertion will make a bit more sense. But until then, I'll stick with ...

Re(2): ok, little help from the deep thinkers....$50 SNG, bubble
How has only one person mentioned that we need to know the size of the blinds' If the blinds are 10/20 it's the easiest fold ever if it's 600/1200 it's the easiest call ever. Some reads would be nice too. Can't just arbitrarily assign some ranges.

How is that a bad analogy' Any number of cents does not equal that same number in dollars. The people at verizon seem to grasp that for the numbers 1 and .5, but not for .002. Apparently, you don't quite understand either.

inissint: The thing is, the shorty is sitting out so he has 0 equity. I definitely think raising (then calling) is better than shoving, but I don't know if that's better then straight open folding.

I'm sorry that I don't want my name outed (I used to play under HoyaSaxa3 on Stars if you HAVE TO KNOW), though I'm not sure what that has to do with the content of my writing anyway. You say "it's something called fearless aggression." Well, yes, when you have a huge stack on the bubble of course that's a good idea and of course having folding equity when you raise is good too. Really brilliant stuff. But do you not realize that first place only gets 50% of the prize pool' Do you not realize that the payout ...

Re(5): Donkey play by me???
DO NOT smooth call the flop. That would just be awful, awful. I'd be inclined to just fold because UTG raisers usually don't throw out a cont. bet when they miss here, but after sb calls, there's so much money in there that shoving can't be bad. There's already like 10k in the pot, so the whole "you'll only get called if you're beat thats -EV" is dumb.

1st hand open shove preflop, but ya 80 is too small. The rest is fine. Don't check the flop ever unless you're gonna c/f, which doesn't seem right on the first hand.
