yeah. I was just at the wsopc in west palm beach and thought it'd be better to play cash during the week and the 2 big events on the weekends. I just don't think its worth playing these events during the week

"Interesting" Live $1/$2 hand
I think the call is fine, but I disagree with the range of hands you are giving him. I highly doubt a 40 yr old man playing 1/2 is going to float you with complete air AND overbet pot on a king. For the same reasons, I really can't see him having a monster. I really thought he had a king or AA(might also be a stretch). I could also see him doing this with QQ,JJ and with the mentality of "if he has a king so be it" and pays you off. good call imo

Are there people out there that travel to all of these and make a steady income' With travel costs, rake (300+45+10 addon), 3% prize pool for staff, more tipping, 22 hour tournaments, only being able to play one table etc etc I am thinking there are very few people who make good money doing this. Excluding the 1500+100 main event, I do not believe these events are worth traveling to. I do understand that the players are much worse live, but does it make up for all of the shortcomings of playing live' Maybe I am wrong and just miss online poker too much. I'd really like to hear from someone ...

Need double up SNG expert opinion
Yes, it is a double up SNG. I am interested to here more opinions on this. I believe if you are a good player than it is not necessary to take this risk until you have less than 5 BB's left as there is going to be much better spots. For example, lets say my shoving range is AQ and the big stacks calling range is AJ+ and 77+ I have 43% equity. If you throw 44 in my equity drops to 29%, but the BB is going to lose 30% of the time. So is the 14% less equity that I am gaining worth the 30% time that you lose'

Need double up SNG expert opinion
6 max double up SNG 4 people remain 50/100 blinds Button- 4,000 SB- 2700 BB- 990 (44) UTG- 980 (AQ) I shoved AQs, Button calls, and the BB also calls with 44. Is it correct for the BB to call seeing that he has me covered' I personally think that 10BB's is still enough play room and would wait to do this with 5 BB's or less, but the player is a regular so that is why I am asking. If this is an incorrect call, how many BB's would it be correct'

IMO, skip Imperial Palace and stay somewhere else. Place is a dump and made me want to leave vegas immediatley. Anywhere in vegas is going to have good 1/2. Caesars might be better since it is a 500 dolar max, however the poker room is tucked away which makes for a better atmosphere, but doesn't attract as many donks imo . As far as 2/5 goes, ARIA is the best followed by venetion and bellagio. good luck

Hand History Review Please. 2-5 Live Cash game Hands.
Hand 1- Played it fine Hand 2- Pretty spew. Fold pre or on flop. Hand 3- Depends on the read you have of villain. If villain cannot fold an over pair (like most live players) then it is a raise. If he will only call 2 pair + then it is just a call. I find that people who raise in that spot preflop usually have a monster and thus it is very unlikely that you are behind. Hand 4- I personally don't like leading the flop either. Villain will probably play fit/fold when you lead. I think its more profitable to ck/call their cbet and reevaluate on turn. As played certainly bet river.

Bodog Email I received about Recent BF events
I believe it's a matter of time before Bodog is indicted. I feel like Tony G is an expert in the industry and he is strongly urging people to take their money off (see his twitter). With that being said, I have never once had a problem with Bodog in my 5+ years playing on the site and believe they would fully payout in the event they are indicted

Can you explain: The more players who mincash for less than double their buyin, the more poker money goes to the sites as Rake instead of to the good players as profit.

I've been doing fantasy leagues for years. just because i havn't been on p5's doesn't mean i don't know fantasy pools. If you don't want to pay 50 cents- 1 dollar to have it professionally done then thats your choice. I'm running this for people who want something more organized.
