Rain back/front yard > no yard and it's not even close I love my back yard with woods and a creek, privacy, free to room. That's how the majority of weddings are done where I live. It's good shit, too. That's like $4,000 right there. Sport bet come backs 2-3 weeks ago in the Conference Championships in College Basketball, Manhattan was playing someone (I forgot who) maybe Iona or something' Anyway, I had Manhattan +4. They were down by 8 with 6.7 seconds to go. The other team just drilled two free throws. I'm thinking GG and about to turn off the TV. Manhattan inbounded the pass, walked down the court and threw up a 3 pointer and NAILED IT!!!! I'm like, oh fuck I got +4, and they're gunna lose by 5, too late now. Honeymoon Destinations Everything is cheaper here though. The food is pretty damn good and is only about $9.50 a plate with two main entrees. The booze I'm getting a deal on as well. Obv getting an ice sculpture and all that good stuff. The Decorator is like 4K which I think is a bit much but it's who she wanted. Then you have all the small stuff that adds up. Honeymoon Destinations Not really. I'm just not big on traveling. I have tons of fun other ways. Give me 25 or 30 of my closest friends, a lot of great food, and booze and I will have just as much fun as I would traveling 4000 miles away and sight seeing and all that shit. I'm more of a friends and family kind of guy. I told you I have always had the means to travel, just don't care for it. Honeymoon Destinations I wish I could. I live in an area where everyone knows everybody I guess. I could easily invite 600 + but we capped it at 400. I am 30 years old and I have probably been to at least 75 weddings in the last 10 years if that tells you anything. It's how it is around here, big weddings. Honeymoon Destinations I already bought a house in January so that's done. We both have two new nice vehicles, and I have spent way more than 25K to expanding the ice plant this year as well. Just called a travel agent and for 4 grand she said I can go to a ton of nice places. apparently prices vary big time by when you go so she is going to give me some options for jan/ feb and a list of 10 places to go and how much. I agree 25K is ridiculous for a wedding.But it all adds up. The only reason I have to do it all myself is because both of my parents died, and her parents are poor and divorced. I figure when you ... I have been to Vegas countless times and I'd just as soon go there or other big cities in the U.S. She did say we could go to Vegas but I could tell it was kind of like she didn't want me to agree to it. She wants something exotic and on the beach. 25K for a wedding is not uncommon. We will have probably around 400 guests cause that is where we are stopping it. Honeymoon Destinations I thought about the cruise, but she is worried she'll get sea-sick and it'll ruin the whole trip. We were thinking about Punta canta, but she is now dead-set on Antigua from research she has done' Anyone have any info there' Thanks so much for all the help so far. I'd like to go somewhere for 6-7 days and keep it under $4,000 for the both of us if at all possible. I'm paying for the entire wedding myself so that's over $25,000 bye bye. Honeymoon Destinations All right people, I have to book a Honeymoon soon. I have never left the United States. I've only seen the ocean one time (Florida and that was just two years ago). She has never been on a plane before and has not left the U.S. either. I know, we suck. I can't spend a gazillion dollars, I'd like something all-inclusive.
