he would 3b JTs for a couple reasons. to both win the pot pre and add a deceptive element to hand with much less standalone value. i really don't think dirtyriver is scared to get 4bet, he'd just fold, he's got heaps. he might not 3b AA in this spot because that would shut down any action behind him, as opposed to flatting which would open the door for someone to squeeze in position. also we have no idea from OP as to whether or not the UTG raiser has shown any signs of being capable of 4betting light, so why 3b and force out worse hands from which he can extract value' i'm not saying he ...

looks like AA to me. he flats pre with 5 people left to act behind, maybe one will squeeze and fall for his trap. also, if he's been 3betting the UTG raiser a lot, why would he flat JTs as opposed to 3betting' i also don't think he would slow down with JThh by checking the turn. alright, so then he bets flop with topmost pair - AA. if he has the Ah and the turn is a heart then he barrels, but it's not so he checks for pot control in case you have a set/twopair/straight draw that got there. You check turn and lead river which gives him top set, he is then raising you for value and hoping to ...

Petition for Stars - more Mid Stakes freezeouts!
First off there should definitely be a 10cubed earlier in the day, so I'll cosign with the 2x 20cubed and 10cubed statements. Maybe a 30cubed for variety' (just a thought) Secondly, for most midstakers there are 0 rebuys worth playing in between the 10am 11r and the 4pm 11r. This seems like a pretty big problem, which could be easily solved with the addition of somewhere from an 8r-20r in between 12pm and 1pm. Finally, i think the gap between 55$ freezeouts and 109$ freezeouts could be nicely rounded with a few 75-85$ buy in tournaments. I think you could get a lot of registrands for these, ...

im with heynow. high stakes players will hold too much weight in this competition and i think he has a good idea with the point system solution. i was thinking along the lines of some sort of multiplier system such as a low stakes player's PLB contribution would be multiplied by 1.5, midstakes by 1.25, and high stakes left as is, for example. i randomly picked those numbers, just figured id throw out another solution to our potential problem and see what gives.
