Haven't received funds withdrawn from Full Tilt after 2 weeks
How long does it normally take for funds to arrive using the instadebit option on Full Tilt. I withdrew most of my money out from FT 2 weeks ago, as I wasn't playing that much anymore and still have not received the money. After a few days i grew concerned and sent an email to them because I noticed the number on my instadebit account did not match any of my bank accounts. it took 4 days to receive a reply but they assured me this was my account number. I sent a second email a week ago asking what is the norm for withdrawal time periods and haven't received a reply at all. When I have ...

Re:Bank requested a phone interview, and I am talking with them tomorrow/will update.
You missed the point. You said you would vote for a party that was favorable to poker even if that party was going to do a lot of other shit you didn't agree with. Basically what you are saying is that the government can get away with murder as long as they are not making laws that are harming your lively hood. But, as usually happens when people adopt such a complacent attitude towards what their government does, eventually they get around to making laws that are detrimental to yourself. You fail to see that this issue is only a small part of a much wider problem, and that is government ...

Re:Bank requested a phone interview, and I am talking with them tomorrow/will update.
I can't even find words to describe how wrong that statement is. If you are wondering why the U.S government is cracking down on online poker and getting away with it, and want someone to blame you really only have to look at your self in the mirror.

Re:what makes a great poker player?
I've come to the conclusion lately, that skill only is enough to get you to somewhere around the break even point at least as far as tournament poker goes, the rest is all luck. Undoubtedly there are a lot of players who have put in the hours, read the books studied the videos and worked on their games diligently and still have not seen a big pay out. You really need to run good to win in tournament poker.

Holdem Manager not working in cash games on Poker Stars
Is there a fix for this. Works fine in MTT's. As long as I'm on the subject of cash games on Stars, is there really any reason to play them there, since they don't give rake back'

Re:Bank is requesting a phone interview. Help!
Threads like this depress the hell out of me. Our freedoms slowly continue to erode in the western world but responses like this give me hope. More people need to realize that government is a cancer. It's bad enough that they take half of what we earn through taxes but now they want to tell us what we can or can't spend the rest on as well.

Seriously fulltilt. what's with the 15 sec timebank
Full Tilts time bank has to be the fucking stupidest fucking feature on a major site bar none. Seriously, if you are playing a few tables never mind a dozen or more it is so easy to time out. Must have lost 30 to 50 bucks alone tonight in cash games when I was playing hands at other tables and didn't get in a bet on the river when I had a big hand. WTF is with this 15 second time bank. Fuck me to Goddamn Tears.

I just moved into a small hamlet that does not offer cable or dsl. I know an aircard will be fast enough to play poker with and is fairly reliable in terms of connection but what concerns me is whether I will exceed the amount of gigs I am alotted per month for downloading. Does anyone know how much poker sites use up and whether an aircard/satellite/other is an economical option'

Re:I think I just really suck at poker...
You want guys like that at your table obviously but when the whole table is like that it makes it tough to get ahead. If you are running really hot you can win but with so many tards shoving on you with crap hands so often it takes a lot of luck to survive to the final table. I usually can get ahead and stack a couple of players playing crap although it isn't uncommon for me to get AA cracked the first time i go all in but by the 3rd time I get my chips in as a big favorite I'm getting stacked or crippled by some idiot that shouldn't have even called my raise preflop, then re ...

Finding out where you are at?
Does anyone know of any charts that a player could consult to guage their performance in sngs and cash games in terms of the stakes they play, and their roi or bbs/ 100 for that level, etc., when single and multi tabling. Obviously if your roi is positive that's not a bad thing but how good is it. For example, a 5% roi while single tabling $6sngs may be ok but it isn't exactly crushing. What would be considered crushing the game' I guess your bankroll will tell you if you are ready to make the leap ahead or not but then again some people may do well in sngs then lose some of their ...

Re:Official poker ranking use late in trny
The majority of players online don't show a profit so there is bound to be a few as you get to the later stages and even at the final table some of the time. Over all these same players likely won't see another final table for a long time, let alone go deep, they just happened to run good on this occasion. No doubt there are a lot of players that have good jobs and can afford bigger buyins but only play casually, like once or twice a week, so that could be why there numbers are so low. Check the dates on the mtts they play and you can see if they are new or just taking an occassional ...

Re:90 man sng Variance
I played a few of these the other day for shits and giggles. 6 or 7 guys limping in almost every hand, at least 4 will call a 10x + raise if not a shove. Even the later stages still a lot of guys to the flop. I can see why there would be some variance, your going to the river multi-way a large percentage of the time. Had to laugh at some of the plays. I was sitting out a hand and watched two players limp in, player 3 makes it 16x. First guy folds, player 2 hesitates then calls. He checks the flop and the raiser shoves all in on a jack high board suited in diamonds. Player 2 hesitates again, ...

Sounds like this guy is into a lot more money than just with the people that have come forward on here. Think he's way over his head and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was into debt with some people that aren't so understanding about not getting repaid. Have a feeling this story will end real ugly.

Re:Amatuerish Action by Unethical Pokerstars Support
If poker sites were really so concerned about underage players playing on their sites they would be doing something about it. I'm willing to bet that a decent percentage of P5's members started playing before they were 18 and it is common knowledge that some very successful high profile online players began playing when they were underage. Some of these players are now reps for poker sites. Why haven't they been investigated or had their accounts locked and funds confiscated' I'm sure there are new accounts being created every week by people that are not legally allowed to ...
