Re:A/Q in early stages
Wow..... thanks bro' Thats kinda why I said in early stages of a tournament, and described two different situations with varying positions, other players, and stacks vs. blinds.... I was looking for what would be more +EV with each different situation, which had more variables than me just sitting there staring at A/Q.... So.... thanks'

A/Q in early stages
So I'm having some problems determining what's the ideal thing to do in situations with A/Q a lot. *mind you this is only in early stages of a tourney where blinds are <50/100 In early position, should I entering in the pot 9 handed with a raise or should I fold under the gun' In late position, should I be raising with >1 limper every time' Is it acceptable to limp A/Q in late position and treat it like A/J' Have I got this all wrong'' lol

Re:When the raise gives you nothing but a shove...
If I get something like Q/K with 13 bbs, UTG, is that worthy enough to shove 7 handed though' I feel like it's not, and if I'm faced with something like Q/K suited in mid position, I don't know whether its more +EV to raise and not die if a flop misses, or to shove and basically hope for a blind steal because its' unlikely I will be called with a worse or less than equal hand, from EP or MP anyway. I feel more comfortable when I'm much deeper stacked, so at what point does a raise fully commit my hand' I always thought it was 1/3 or 1/4 of my stack. Thanks again.

When the raise gives you nothing but a shove...
I find the worst part of my game is 3x-2.5x raising preflop for a blind steal or actually for value when I have basically 13 bbs or so, and a 3x raise will basically leave me on tilt. Should I be treating my range any different if the only post flop play for me will be to shove/fold' Obviously there are certain hands I'd rather just get it in preflop than post, but say I have K/Q, Q/J suited, or something robust in the cutoff, 7 handed. Is there any benefit to shoving for a blind steal' Should I still raise for value and hope for a good flop, or should I fold or play tighter and min's ...

Re:Did I play This Correctly?
I get that the post flop play was bad, but in the instance that he's in the cut off, or 1 from it, is limping A/2 that bad when he has 100+ big blinds' I'm not asking to defend him, I'm asking because I honestly don't know.
