Re:$100R - leaving before first hour? I am 100% in the camp that you don't leave early, but the person who is arguing about leaving early does have the results to at least make me listen to his argument. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy thinking everyone changed their thinking regarding the rebuy hour. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

$100R - leaving before first hour? I have been in the mindset that you generally do not leave rebuys before the first break, but in a discussion with some other people they argue if the table is ultra hard then it makes sense to just not rebuy if you bust before the add-on period. Is this a view that other hold as well' I haven't played a $100R in a while, but I always assumed the table was going to be pretty rough for the most part. Is there logic in the argument if your table is stacked worse than normal than its better to just quit early rather than fight against a losing battle' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:What does it say about tournment poker when I get staked for much of what I play - less stress and I will never lose any of my money. I am guaranteed to profit from poker in the long run. I will take that over hitting a massive slide or going on tilt and blowing a chunk of my roll on cash games. It sucks when you win alot of money, but when you spend $3K on tourneys on a Sunday and blank them all it doesn't sting quite as bad. Its also nice to pull out money or even all your online roll and still be able to play. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Cash out issues with Full Tilt? I requested a direct deposit on Full Tilt on April 15th. This is the first time I tried this and only did so because of epassporte not being available. I have cashed out twice from UB with no issues since then, but it has been 20 days and this is the last email they sent me. Should I be concerned or does anyone know any more info about this' Sorry if this has already been posted. ------------------------------------------------------------ Hello Lee, Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. question on the new site regarding rankings I used to be able to look past the top 100 people on the Sliding PLB. I doubt I ever make it to the top 100, but I have challenged myself to try to get into the top 200 people. Is it still possible to do this' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Stars Nightly Hundred Grand, whose had success??? I went through a horrific stretch of not cashing in this, but recently I have been doing much better with a 2nd and 3rd this month in it. I basically play solid TAG early and then when under 100 people left I start to get more agressive if the table lets me. Sometimes I am happy watching people knock themselves out. With ~3 tables left it is FT or bust time. Played it about 100 times - little over 100% ROI. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

My work has now blocked the site :(. I can't access this one either. When I get home from work I do famiily stuff and then play poker - not alot of time for forums :) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Some questions for Jennifear So I do think post-flop skills do come into play, but yo have to pick your spots. These hands are all from the $22R last night. These are my biggest pots in the entire tournament since my AA, KK, AK, AQ, and QQ hands were never called or was folded to them when I was in the BB. I won sizeable pots through post-flop play and while I might get myself into trouble now and then sometimes the cards are not coming your way and you need to get creative. Everyone has different ways to play and her article is a nice concise explanation of one way to play that can work. Rizen can do well playing TAG, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): Frugal Rebuy Strategy... ROFL... missed the memo(100r) OK - you have 9000 chips compared to 3000. Assuming you stay at the level after the add-on you are at 11000 compared to 5000. The 5000 stack is only one double up away from hitting 10000 chips. The extra 6000 chips are great, but they are not going to win you the tournament. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): To Dapfunkera and math guys maybe: Good points, but I think you are thinking it through a bit too much and giving too much credit to the players at the table. Many of the top players are shoving more often than the normal player as it is and I will even call sometimes with marginal hands if 3-4 people are involved since I am getting great odds. Shoving with 67s on the first hand only works if you shove every other hand from there out. If you only shove once and then wait 4 orbits you will still look tight. I might apear tight but I still get called with my shoves so why do I need to apear loose' You can do well in rebuys and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Frugal Rebuy Strategy... ROFL... missed the memo(100r) Last night I watched someone at my table in the $22R keep "gambling" and after the rebuy period was over I had 13000 chips and invested $62. He had 9000 chips and invested at least $200. It wasn't that he had bad luck, he was pushing with any two many times. Can you build a big stack gambling' Of course you can build a big stack gambling, but you can also build a big stack being smart. Just think if you play the $22R every day and you can eliminate one bad shove every other day. At $40 a pop that equates to over $7000 a year in savings. Just my thoughts. Re(1): Question About Top Ranked Players I hate keeping much online (without neteller my life has been hell of late) so I can get by with less than $1-$2K, but I used to freely deposit if I had to. $10K seems to be more than enough as long as you aren't playing the $100R regularly. If you are cashing at a decent rate $10K will last a long time. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Frugal Rebuy Strategy... ROFL... missed the memo(100r) sorry some of you guys thought the article was silly. I am not a pro so I am not going to write articles for pros. I thought it would help people just starting out with rebuys. I have dropped way more than I like to on rebuys here and there when things go bad. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
