Getting a 25000 car with 7000 down a reallllllly crappy credit score......
As someone who works in finance and "skip traces" (aka tracks dirt bags) / repo's cars among other things. I've talked to plenty of people who have no concept of how to live off the money they have. You are almost as bad as it gets and I guarantee if you borrow money on this car you will have it repo'd chasing the type of cash you just had access to. I use Tradeking. No complaints, been there since late 2008, $5 trades. I'd imagine if you're looking to do any active trading, the commission is going to be a huge factor for you since it can eat up your profits relative to your investment of 1k quickly. They were the cheapest legit site I could find at the time, not sure if this is still true.

Avast AVG used to be pretty heavyweight when I used it. Avast is light on resources and hasn't failed me yet, blocks sites now and then. NOD32 failed me once so its gone.

Monitor question
You shouldn't need a new video card. I play on my laptop w/ a 32" lcd 1080p wall mounted as a dedicated pc monitor. Its close to proper res w/ only minimal resizing needed, but imo shop for a large 24-26" lcd computer monitor w/ 1920x1200 resolution as these are optimal. I used to play on a desktop w/ dual 20" non-widescreen 1600x1200 monitors and it was much better for poker. I'm putting my 32 incher in the bedroom and just ordered an Asus vw266h 26" lcd to replace my tv. Unless you plan to be far away from your screen, this is the way to go. Man this sucks. Now we gotta listen to all this BS about the big 10 sucks. Yes bama shitrocked msu and is a better team. Michigian st had a great year and deserved their ranking having only one loss but that doesn't mean I thought they were better than bama. And then we get the rose bowl which is a no-win situation for the big 10 since if they win, they were supposed to and if they lose.....the big 10 sucks. WI gonna win comfortably tho I think.

Credit card co's slashing credit limits?
I spose it depends on the company. I closed one card to go to another and got about half my limit and they never increase it. My old card co kept sending me letters informing me they were increasing my limit about twice a year. I have one card and pay it in full every month. The people who think credit scores are a sham don't fucking pay as agreed or they have high debt to income ratios. My job involves breaking this stuff down when the deals go bad, and the puzzles pieces fit together pretty easily when you look at prior repo's, chargeoffs and collection histories. So after looking at the site initially, then checking back later, there are some degens bidding on the same damn Macbook as there were like 2hrs ago - and you can't accomplish much else since you've gotta being paying attention every 10 secs max. As far as I can tell, if you're going to do this you might get stuck bidding for awhile and forget doing it anytime but like early morning hours. And when do these big ticket items actually end' Its not like you can just swoop in w/ 1 sec left and win it easily since ur bid refills the clock to 10 secs. Buick kind of kicks ass now
Buicks seem to be coming along. Putting BMW up there is fine as long as you know its performance and looks - the reliability is shit compared to Lexus and replacing failed components is expensive - do not own one outside of the factory warranty.

meh, do you really like the looks of it' or do you like the caddy nameplate' me' i really wouldn't buy a gm, chrysler, or bmw right now (yes bmw are not hi quality cars imo)...i do insurance repair claims on vehicles and these are the worst imo if you wanna spend 4k look at like a nissan maxima or altima..you could prolly find a decent one with a few miles on it, but w/ plenty of life honda and toyota make quality cars too
