Re(5): UB tourney froze, I was in 4th, received response from UB, Need help!
ohhh....thats the Canadian casino. I was referring the the one on the American side. IMO the one on the American side is much much nicer, more tourney's, the cardroom managers and dealer's are better, better chips, and nicer poker room.

I have been, more so this year...and I would've surely recognized you. What stakes and game did you usually play' I'm mostly 1-2 no limit now...used to grind it out at the 2-4 and 3-6 limit tables.

Re(2): Legalization of online poker
The only problem about legalizing online poker in the US is that the majority or all of the site are located offshore. Kinda difficult to tax an offshore company....and why start a US based company when they can earn a profit without Uncle Sam taking money out of their pockets' There has been a vast majority of people such as some of the Christian organizations fighting to make it illegal altogether, but their attempts are only going to be futile because of the sheer number of people gambling online.

Hey gmoney, I actually wrote a graduate economics paper on a similar topic. It was about the economics of online gambling, including online poker. If you PM me and I can give you some pretty good resources to use.

Re(1): The Rigged Posts Have to Go
seriously..all those posts have irrational, illogical, and just plain retarded reasoning why they're rigged. I even posted the data of over 37,000 hands and the percentage of how they're dealt, flopped, etc....and someone actually stated that the numbers were too perfect to the expected percentage of being dealt pocket aces, flopping a set, etc., and that it had to be rigged.....LOL.

Re(1): DdotChu...i got a question for ya about the statistics?
I wasn't the one that did the actual work, I just found it online. Here's the link: / browse_thread/thread/caa79fd079bee55d /3c3f29d3340e65d7#3c3f29d3340e65d7 I'm not sure if I understand your question exactly but I think you're asking to see the statistics during live play and to actually deal them out myself' This would be nearly impossible to have a large enough sample size to come up with accurate data. This would take more than a lifetime to do.

"And you can say tin foil hat or watever but after 6 years of playing in b+m casinos i can HONESTLY 1000% sure say that Ive NEVER EVER seen the repetetive losing streak pattern i go through after i win some at almost ALL online sites. Sorry for the rant but this has to be addressed" You also have to keep in mind that in LIVE play it is much worse than online play. You're winning more often and that's probably why the bad beats don't seem to hurt as much. A lot of the people there are simply there to just gamble and have fun, whereas online the competition is much tougher and winning those ...

Re(1): Playing style
It depends....if there's more than one player in the pot, the pot odds, if theres only one raiser do you have a good read on him, etc. If you're just starting out, don't play bad hands out of position and have good disclipine with your starting hand requirements.

LOL @ "I can understand all the thing about %ages and that hands come as many times as they should but after the analysis of that 37000 hands on dise(see earlier post) came out ALMOST "perfect" it just doesnt look like random and im convinced that hands are preprogrammed just to keep the donkeys coming back" How are those stats almost too perfect' Under a given sample size it should follow the normal distribution of the probabilities of certain hands being dealt, certain hands hitting, etc. C'mon it's basic statistics, the greater sample size the more accurate the data therefore the closer ...
