I have to say KK is one of the reasons I stay with UB...while he hasn't ever needed to help me out...it is GREAT to see him doing nice things for others..especially when he doesnt have to....even with all the 'issues' UB has had over the years...KK has done his best and I am sure has shown them how customer support SHOULD work!! (oh...I stay at UB cause of Susie too!)

I would have to disagree that he didn't have the odds to call for a set...as you said its right at 8:1 to hit your set and the way I learned was if the person raising raises less than 12% of their stack (giving you your 8:1 odds) then you should call because if you hit, chances are you are getting all their chips....BUT you have to be willing to lay down if it doesn't pan out and you have no draws

not if you are playing with in the correct limits....I would personally keep 50-100 buyins for what ever level you are playing so if you go on a bad streak...then you can drop down in levels....now 50-100 might be a little consertive but since I like money.........

business 101....1) find a product that people want.....2) sell that product....3) keep the customer happy.....4) make money....not that difficult of a concept so lets see....1) they have the product. I personally love the software, tourney structures and such...2) the product will sell its self if #3 is taken care of...3) have customer support that acually SUPPORTS THE CUSTOMER, have live assistance at the tables or a way to flag support to come to that table, allow chops and have UB manage them if everybody agrees at the table, LISTEN TO YOUR TOP PLAYERS TO SEE WHAT WHAT NEEDS TO BE ...

damn ole....that will learn you to kick that crap under the rug!! and UB...I am losing faith that you will be around for much longer....as much as I love your structure and (for the most part) quality of players and the Buddy List (come on other sites....get something like this) you need to get off your ass and start fixing things...you do have to wonder what kind of capitol it would take to startup your own site...hhuummm just imagine what could be done with some decent programers and poker players involved in structure setup and schedules....when my ex-wife was going to college and had ...

even though I don't do much in the way of tournies...I enjoy railing my friends and the bounties are a blast...as for the customer service...well...there isn't any that I have seen.....I have had issues that I have sent emails off on for issues and it was either 2 weeks for a response if ever...I do like the structure and speed of play...but I hate to say it....they need to start doing a few things or they will keep losing players.....1) don't just listen to what the players are asking for...if it makes sense...DO IT 2) get some real customer service in place...you are making a ton of cash ...

So far I have to say I agree with Adam and Supermoves here....invest invenst invest....don't blow this opportunity on poker (I know...blasphemy)...my wife had a similar inheritance and we decided it was time for her to open her business and she is using some of that money as her payroll for the next 2 years...we paid off some bills..she got a new car (old one needed to be replaced) and we have some more stashed away....did not use any of it for poker...not a dime....so just sit back and think about what 100k can do for you outside of poker and use it to build something that will bring you ...

back to the "I have a friend...." line....as for "a virus being sent out" don't quite see how that can happen...you have NO idea what the persons IP address is and unless you are in the system you can't get that...add to the fact that just by having the IP isn't going to do you any good because you will have to get access to their system....GET RID OF THE TINFOIL HATS

defraging isn't going to do anything especially if you are going to format...it is one of two things...keylogger or sombody you know has access to your account...I am at work now but do a search for keylogger and there should be some software to find that..if not...I would just format the system and reload...you may also want to see if support can flag your account for any transfers and have them contact you before that happens...also see if they can do something about email changes as well

I actually did that last night in a SNG...had AQ hearts...raised 3x UTG....cutoff pushes...button pushes and I fold real quick like....I had them both covered and was CL but figured that wasn't the hand I wanted to call with.....as for what they had....AT and 88 ;)

as a rule of thumb...if I am going to play a pot I am going to raise (unless in the BB and its checked to me) and I dislike limping...raise or fold...no limp...as for the bad players I would say you are mostly right as they will play the A rag or any face card suited and USUALLY your AQ is good ...but if an A37 or QT6 flop comes and they com over the top of your bet...are you going to fold or call if you just limped initially'

I remember seeing something on TDC or TLC about the person that first learned how to beat Black Jack and wrote the book on it....the casions were so worried that they would have to drop that game because they were going to lose tons of money....as it turns out...they saw an INCREASE in profit from those tables because the people that got that book (and any others since then) read the info but didn't follow the directions and as such would lose...same thing is happening here...some people listen...others don't and it is the vast majority of people that don't which is good for the rest of us :)
