Re(2): is it possible to be a winning player and open folding KK? Wow, last night i had KK in late position in the Sunday $100,000 on Pokerstars. Blinds were 500/1000, I raised 1,000 and button reraised me $1,000. I just flat called. Flop came K89 I bet out $2500 he raised $2500. The turned came K making me QUADS. I checked he bets about half his remaining stack of $4500. There is already 3 spades on board didn't matter so I smooth called then another spade came, LOL. Then I knew exactly what he had AA with the nut flush. I checked river and of course he went all in for remaining $4500. I think I maximized my pot potential on this one. He had AA and I had ... The only reason I continue to play the $4 and below MTT is because I continue to cash on them on a regular basis, but the $10 I only played in like 4 of them and cashed in two of them, but yeah I see your point over the longrun. I guess the reason I was playing the $10 MTT was because I won some SNG and I was treating myself at the time because it was money I won. Overall, I like the $4.00 Beginners tournament everynight at 6:15pm. That tournament is where I cashed 11 out of 22 cashes. But I definitely will try that $5 sng. Re(4): Looking for a mentor Yeah I agree with everything you said corey, the main thing I want to stress is I'm building Bankroll up gradually. What I was planning to do is once I get to about $1000 then I was going to play $20 and $30 tournaments regularly as long as I can consistently cash. I guess its more of a comfort zone so to speak. In other words, now I am building a cushion for now then I will splurge where the real money is. Does this kind of make sense or do you think I am being a little too cautious of BR' Also, I would like to find a good Deep Stack tournament if you know of any. Also, thanks for the great ... Re(2): Looking for a mentor Very similar as well, I started with $50.00. I play alot of the beginners tournaments SNG on Bodog $2.20 and $4.40. I know the prizes are not much, but I grind those out for tournament entries. I've worked my BR to about $250. Right now it fluctuates between $250 and $225 consistently for about a month now. First started on 10/25/07. Main thing I think I'm at a still point is because I been playing alot of $10.00 and $6.00 tournaments, but the main thing is to get those entries paid for using the SNG's. Re(2): Playing one account on 2 laptops Thanks, Yeah what I been doing is grinding out the 10man 2.20 tables getting 1st and 2nd alot and then taking half profit and playing MTT. Everyone once in a while I play a $4.00 tournament, but I haven't played that many. I won 6th last night for $22.00. Better than nothing. And some times I'll play half my winning on cash table playing .5/.10 NL and getting my money in with the best hand. All in all, my bankroll is slowly edging up and up. I'm constantly getting in the money and hopefully soon I can take down one of those $5.00 or $10.00 tournaments, but for now I will grind it out and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Playing one account on 2 laptops This might be a silly question; however, I want to use two laptops on one account on Bodog. The reason is I like to play freerolls, 3 SNG's, and 2 Multi Table tournaments at once, but unfortunately you can only play 3 games on one laptop. Re(1): Poker Tracker question- 5 dollars Zam, Jester's Tracker Download I use this software on this link. The software is called Jesters_Tracker_v6.0. It has a month to month tab. If you wanted just rake for specific month go to month and you can insert a sum function at the bottom to add it up for you automatically. If you need exact instructions on how to do this, I would gladly take you step by step. Just let me know.
