Full tilt poker - watch out non US Players
Seems I also have the same problem. I wanted to cash out only $500 to my Visa Card and now I'm waiting already 3 weeks. I've cashed out more than $10k last year without any problem, never took longer than 5 days max. There's evidence that Full Tilt is delaying things purposely. Just look at their reply, which I received 5 days ago. Till now I still have not received this ARN number. Hello, Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. We're sorry to hear you haven't received the funds for your $507.62 (€353.06) Visa withdrawal from April 6th. Typically, a Visa transaction ...

Someone who has been crushing for years can still make a mistake. That shove on turn was just plain terrible.

Re:Trouble with Pokerstars connection?
Definitely. Connection seems to be dropped, active again, dropped, active and then it's totally gone. Restarting the client software seems to solve the problem for a moment, but after a few minutes the same problem starts again.

Re:billy kopp defends bustout
People who can't stop to lick Billy's balls should better start to realize that most people don't critisize Billy's game in general, but only one misplayed hand. However you turn it, shoving on a mediocre player, who has shown so much strength on turn, with a hand that only can be behind if it gets called is generally not the best line.

Re:billy kopp defends bustout
You are the idiot here, if you can't distinguish between dbgas who are just bashing on people or those who want to discuss a key hand in the biggest tournament of the year. Everyone can make a mistake, even if he owns 99% of the time. And I'm sure that Billy would chill even better if he would be still in the WSOP.

Re:Can only playing satellites be profitable?
Satties play completely differently than MTT's. You have to adjust to the type of satty you are playing (low stake/high stake, rebuy, turbo etc), but each type of satellite can be played profitable. At some times I have had over 10k in T$ in my account.

Re:Anyone know if I will be able to play online in China?
^^^^ cosign this. Was there a year ago & the situation was exactly the same for me. Pokerstars software worked fine, but is inaccessible in mainland China. So make sure you have a copy of the Pokerstars installer available in case your computer should get a problem and you have to re-install.

Re:Check behind or bet riv?
Do you ask about value betting in this spot' What do you beat there that will call a value bet' K9'' --> Check. And if you want to bet as a bluff to push him off his hand, then I would think twice. Particularly early in the low stakes tournies people nearly always call a river-bet with TP/decent kicker.

Re:WCOOP 2008 - Schedule - Feedback Requested!
My suggestions for changes to the suggested WCOOP schedule: 1. More 9player NLHE events. That's still the most popular poker game. 2. Why do most tournaments start so late as 16:30 ET, even on weekends' There are more and more European players on Stars, and many of those won't be able to play because the tournaments start so late (FYI 16:30ET = 22:30 CET). Let them start earlier! 3. Make a $55/500k gtd. super-donkament on Saturday Sep-6! If you run satellites you easily will fill this one (10.000 players needed) and many fish will get a taste of the WCOOP and may try to satty into ...

Re:Duffman08 deep in the million!!!!!!!!!!
Now it's 3-handed. Shanking obv is going to win this one. Raising nearly every hand. Easy with these two donks. He even should fold aces in case someone's going to put him all-in, because he simply will win by stealing their blinds.

Re:Duffman08 deep in the million!!!!!!!!!!
Cosign. It's ridiculous how weak this FT is. Half of the players are complete fish there, which really makes one wonder how could they ever have made it so far... maybe Stars just lets the fish win all the flips' Whatever, I also think that Duffman has been playing MUCH too tight on the last 2 tables. That's definitely not the way how to win a tournament.

Re(1): MTT Pro to Discuss Hands/Strategy With
Maybe I have exactly what your are looking for. Me and some other MTT players have setup a private hands/strategy discussion page at /. As non-member you cannot see the discussions, but you can read the group description and you can apply for membership in case you are interested. With your background and attitude I think you would fit well into our crew.

Ideal screen size for Laptop?
I'm thinking about getting a notebook, so I have a question to the guys who are already familiar with playing poker on notebooks: What do you think is the better screen size for playing online' 17" because it's better for multitabling, or 14" because then the notebook is nice and small to carry it anywhere' What's the better screen resolution' As detailed as possible (eg 1920x1200 on 17") or stick to something more readable (eg 1440x900 on 17")' I also have to consider that I am slightly short sighted. What else is to consider for the ideal poker notebook' Thanks for any advice.

Re(2): Is this a bluff? (Hand from $20/1r/1a)
I will explain in more detail later, but for a short explanation: This flop is very safe for me, unless someone got AA, QQ, AQ, 44. So probably I won't get much action from weaker hands, but could lose a lot of chips to those that beat me. By checking the flop I can keep the pot small in case someone has AQ or better, and I also can induce some bluffs (or value bets) by hands that I easily beat. Especially in the beginning of a tourney there are always some players who try stupid bluffs. Finally, checking also mixes up my game and makes me harder to read. So other players cannot be sure ...
