Re(2): Buying Accounts v. Multiaccounting Ironic, that you were the first to read and reply to the thread. If you don't want another thread, don't reply and sent it to the top. And my thread has nothing to do w/ Imp, so no need to wait for his response. But in all these threads for months, many top players are claiming that it's "wrong, but not as bad," to buy another account as opposed to multi-account. It's the same exact thing. The only difference is at what point your 2nd account enters the tournament. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Buying Accounts v. Multiaccounting I am very disturbed, and confused, as to how anyone, including top players here, can say that there is a big difference between the 2, and multi-accounting is much worse than buying someone's account late in the tourny. If someone busts out of a tourny, and later buys someone else's, how is that any different then starting with two accounts' If I buy someone's account in the 2nd level, for slightly more than the buyin, is that better (morally) than entering the tourny w/ a 2nd screenname' Someone please explain this to me and everyone else here who wants to get rid of the gray area. Re(3): Trump Classic $500 nlh tag team event november 20th Weird. I got my schedule off of taj website. Anyways, wondering if each player gets a game, or do both players get both games. I think i'd prefer both play both games. As I'm sure is same w/ u, I'd like to figure this out soon, so let me/us know. Dave G Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Seeking Advice for Live Tourny Destinations... Ok, so i did some minor research on my own. And in that time period, at least WPT wise, I'm looking at the Festa Al Lago Tournament at the Bellagio in October. Foxwoods and Borgata also work for me, but I can just drive up there myself. But for the Bellagio, is anyone interested in either splitting hotels or a house' I'd be willing to stay there from mid October through Halloween, when some buddies (girls too for all you computer geeks) will be joining me. I remember reading about people getting a house w/ a pool during the World Series. If any of these people could respond and give me some ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Seeking Advice for Live Tourny Destinations... I am 25 years old from NYC and I have somewhat of a break/vacation from August to December before I start a new job. I'd like to do something fun, and figure finally playing some big tourny's would be cool. I have a pretty decent bankroll, and would buy my way into any 2k or under tourny, and would enjoy playing satellites for some bigger events. I've played in a few 10k events. The advice I could really use is: What are some good week long tourny's in good locations that could also be a decent vacation. Domestic and Foreign both interest me. By week long I mean including the prelims. (PS - ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Free Sept-Dec, looking for partner in crime... I know that sounds like a personal ad, so I'll explain. I am currently studying for the bar exam, which i take at the end of July, but I don't start my job until January. So i have about 4 months vacation, and I'd like to have some fun and do something I won't be able to do once a member of the working community.I'm 25 years old, went to school at the U of Miami, and live in manhattan now. I'm a fun guy, and a pretty good poker player. Have never played full time cuz of school, but have played in a few big events (WSOP/WPT) and usually play 5/10 NL up to 25/50 NL. I play for higher stakes ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(5): Was SBrugby over his head on HSP? What basis do you have to "guess" that he has made 10 million from poker, and he could just take out another 2 mill if he busts. If that were the case, then the 2 mill is not his bankroll. Also, not sure if it was just a typo, but I believe Brian himself wrote his NET WORTH was 1.5-2 mill, not his bankroll. If that is the case, he was risking about a third of his entire net worth...very risky. And for others to say he is the best at the table...how do you know' By watching selected hands' Brunson, Daniel N, Daniel A, Jennifer H, have made money in that game for years. SB plays predominantly 3 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): 10k Challenge to Top Ten First of all, I apologize if I disrespected anyone. I was slightly intoxicated last nite. But I wasn't calling anyone out in particular, just was surprised at how little action this thread was receiving. Second, this was not a joke, and I am not 16. But alas, I will not accept the c hallenge to make it 25k or 50k. I will be honest, I am a pussy and that is too much for me. But my challenge of 5k still stands...i think this would be great if this was between 3 or 4 of us. I would also prefer, though this is still up for debate, to keep it all on stars. Re(4): 10k Challenge to Top Ten Good question.. Just meant I was not giving it out on every site so as to get ranked. Obviously for all sites we play on i will give my name. I'd rather keep this to one or two sites, maybe Stars and FT (maybe party too) and limit it to 20-30 MTT's. D Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): 10k Challenge to Top Ten Apologies for my lack of response so far, just got home from work. Anyways, I would like to clarify a few things. First, I am not doing this to get ranked. I know I will never be ranked as I do not play enough MTT's. I will not even divulge my screenname on all sites. I am actually primarily a cash player, as I don't have the time to put in 5-10 hours at a time. But I do quite well in the tournies I do enter, mostly Live but some online. I am doing this for two reasons. One, I want to win. The money is an added bonus, but any true competitor knows what it is like to beat the best. The 5k that ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

10k Challenge to Top Ten THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I HAVEN'T REALLY EVER POSTED HERE, BUT ENJOY READING. i AM QUITE PROFITABLE IN CASH GAMES AND MTT'S, BUT PREFER TO STAY IN ANONYMITY. My profit from this year nears 100k, and I would like to place a challenge to someone ranked in the top ten. I would like this to be between 5k and 10k. However , this cannot be a straight TLB race, because I do not have the time to play nonstop. What I would like is to pre-arange maybe 20 or 30 tournaments over the course of a few weeks, and use points/cash from those to determine the winner. This goes out to ActionJeff, Below, and ...
