If I read the books why would I lie about it, but w/e. I can't even manage to finish reading the Mental Game of Poker or Kill Everyone. Yeah it was Loras on the white horse wearing Renley's armour. You can put it all together in the final scene when they enter the throne room and Loras removes his helmet and bends the knee to Cersie and then Tywin walks in saying they've won the battle. That damn scene was just amazing and so well done imo. Like I said though it took a couple of rewatches to put it all together. I recognized Loras immediately and then went back and watched the battle scene and noticed him wearing Renley's armour, only because if you look closely you can see the antlers on the helmet.

Since the scenes for some were so dark some people may have missed the fact that Loris was wearing Renley's armour when he attacked. It took a couple of rewinds to see it but his helmet had the Baratheon antlers. You can faintly see them in the pic below but the screen is so dark it was hard to see.

I had this problem last year when watching the show on my plasma. It was so dark I missed a ton of stuff. This year I've watched on my new 27" HD monitor through HBOGO and it's much better and tonight's show didn't even seem that dark.

Has nothing to do the fact that it was well know GRR Martin wrote this episode, it was called the Battle of Blackwater, and it was also known that it was the biggest budget of the season. Honestly, I have not read the books. The last two things I posted were totally based on what I saw in the show and like I said I didn't even pick up on either of those things until I re-watched each episode another time or two. I've stopped letting people I know who've read the books even talk to me about them at all because they can't seem to avoid giving up spoilers. No I'm not a guy, but it seems pointless to point it out when you can click on my name and it's clearly in my profile that I'm female. Also I just looked back 3 pages and see no book spoilers, yet it only took one and a half pages of show discussion before someone started accusing me of reading the books and lying about it and others to start saying stop talking about the books etc. Yet Waco said in reply to my post about people freaking out about spoilers when others are only speculating that it wasn't true. I just re-watched last Sunday's episode and heard something pretty interesting that I totally missed the 1st time. I actually had to rewind and watch it twice to actually hear it. When Jon Snow and Halfhand are walking along with the wildings Halfhand is talking to Jon, and he says Mance Raider (sp') plans to march on the wall. It would be better to have one man on the inside than 100 (or something like that) on the wall. Okay I was wondering about this, since he had to kill several guards for them to escape does that take place of her 3rd wish' Jaquen said when she told him she wanted him to help her and her friend escape that that would take much more than on death, or something like that. 1. Tywin isn't the oldest if you count the maesters (sp) but it does seem plausible that he doesn't last long. 2. Think Rob will last awhile and the Greyjoys really don't want Winterfell, only Theon does and his sister left him to try and hold it will only about 30 men so once whatever his name is bastard sons and their men get there I doubt Theon can hold onto Winterfell. The next episode "Battle of Blackwater" was written by GRR Martin and should be amazing. I definitely think since the episode is called Battle of Blackwater it's definitely not a spoiler to assume there will be a battle. Also the Unsullied is not even in the 2nd book (I'm told, haven't read them) so that would explain why we aren't seeing the plot line.

It was definitely set up in the episode for everyone to know that there were two boys at the farm around the same age as Bran and Rickon. One of the Stark boys even talked about how well one of them can climb a tree. When Theon finds the walnut shell he looks as if he's devising a plan and then he turns and has the old man (can't think of his name) from Winterfell sent back. The ending scene is obviously supposed to leave you wondering which set of boys it is. Of course if it were Bran and Rickon why burn them beyond recognition. Yeah I have to say I really enjoy hating Joffery and Theon more and more each week. Joffery does a great job of making me hate him worse than I've ever hated any other character. I meant the guy that's killing people for Arya, he's hot in a strange way, but after seeing that pic you posted of Jon Snow I've changed my mind. Theon makes the show interesting but with the exception of Joffery, I've never wanted see any character have their balls cut off more than I do his, he is such a complete prick.
