A few thoughts on AK...
can there ever have been a hand to cause so much anguish as AK. Not if this forum is anything to go by, 'did i over play ak'' 'Should i have folded ak here'' And similar threads are common. Thing is were all kinda programmed to beleive that AK is a premium hand. But its about the only 'premuim' hand that often puts us 50/50 for our whole stack!! However there must be a straightforward profitable way of playing AK for standard fishy players like myself. Lets have a look. Dexter, i wasnt having a go at you ... yr right leeds is a shithole fortunately i live in otley which is gods country. Like i said at the beginning i didnt know if people had mentioned it before. The main thing to me tho is that although it has been around a while this is certainly the first time in the UK it has been so cheap, accessible and anonymous. Seems like its not a problem dicko PS. Multi accounters dreams coming true......
Forgive me if someone has already raised this. Ok, you can now get a mobile wireless internet access in the UK for as little as £10 per month. ($20) Sure as eggs is eggs you will be able to get these on pay as you go. (No personal details required) So now if i'm so minded gain control of multi accounts on a pokers site (surely the easiest part of the scam from what i read here). Set up all my laptops on my kitchen table.......... multi account away. Completely undecteble by the pokersites as far as i can tell. Given that mobile companies are all international concerns then i guess this ...

How can i fix my worst leak????
Ok, i'm an ok tourney player, i know what hands to play from what position and so on, decent grasp of pot odds and tourney strategy, i am 75% in rankings without playing too often. I work hard at my game and looking to improve. I have identified a big leak in my game which i am struggling to fix. I find it hard to lay down hands even when i'm 90% sure i'm beat. Atypical exmple would be when i hold jj qq. i raise get rr, flop 258 rainbow bet it hard, get rr again I KNOW 9 times out of ten hes holding aces yet i sill call donking off all my chips. Hi just been watching sheets vid got me thinking, lets say mid position, and youre itm, i'm interested to know if you have a definite range or its dependant on table etc. Just for fun i'm thinking something like this Open shove - any pair, A7+ any suited connectors above 78 and any two paint cards. hi, i've had a full tilt account for ages but have never used it. decided to give it a go, have downloaded it logged in (after about 1 hour trying to recall my username/password!) trying to deposit it gives me a page to fill in of my personal details, when i send this i get a page saying validating personal details and then after 10 seconds get a pop saying the Full tilt server has encountered a problem and needs to close. Do you wish to send an error report' I've tried a few times now and it happens in this way at this point every time. Any ideas''' Dicko

How important is position?
Ok, i appreciate that position allows you to see how the other player(s) act, but with play being so aggressive these days has that advantage diminshed' It often seems that particularly with only two players in the pot it can be an advantage to ask first. I ask because i'm sure i dont attach enough importance to it so i guess i'm looking for reasons why i should, (other than my stats obv!). Thanks Dicko
