LOL at needing to go platinum to be considered "the best". Go jump off a fuckin' bridge, guy. I knew opening this thread would just raise my blood pressure, anyone who says Jay Z, Tupac, Biggie, any of that bullshit (they're all talented as fuck but nowhere near the best) should just stab their own eardrums out. On topic, if we're talking overall quality, i.e. substance (lyrical content), style (delivery) and sound (beats), well then I think anyone that doesn't say Brother Ali can go fuck themselves.

Damn, brotha, you need some new friends out here. Fuckin' oil comes in at least once a month, usually around most of the time though, and when it's not, always other kinds of awesome hash to make the wait more bearable. Not to mention the fucking amazing strains all over the place. Also, I came back to this thread because when I google image searched for "skillet vape pipe" my image from this thread was the first hit... I had forgotten all about it, and here you guys are still posting almost a year later. Awesome. Also, happy fuckin' holiday guys. I think it's time for some oil rips!

Lol....you need to see more hip-hop like The Roots, Digable Planets, Blackalicious, Del (but Del can be REALLY hit-or-miss). Radio rap fucking blows (usually in general, but I'm talking in concert here), it's way overproduced so they can't really make it sound good/the same live as it does on the album. A lot of good hip-hop uses bands live, and sounds even better than on the album.

I don't really think that, or think that you're doing it on purpose...but it seriously does come across that way sometimes. I think it comes down to the fact that I don't remember ever seeing you acknowledge the other opinion or side of an argument, even when there is definitely the possibility of interpreting the situation in multiple ways. ETA: I guess not so much a contrarian, as stubborn. Close-minded doesn't feel like the right phrase, even though that's sort of what I'm describing.
