What does it mean to be (Insert Nationality here) to you?
i'm extremely grateful to have popped out my mother's vagina within the (arbitrary or otherwise) imaginary lines on the planet that i did, but things like nationality (and heritage for that matter) i don't get too proud of. those things are pure chance. personal achievements and philosophies are things i'm more proud of.

i have a lot of time to kill and my brain's on overdrive it's been a good long while since i've been high like this on my own; it has a pleasant novelty to it. nice way to kill a saturday imo anyway, someone convince me why stem cell research is bad (or at least let me know why it's opposed so much - is it purely down to people seeing an embryo as a mini person'). SCR seems like the bees knees to me.

what's OT's stance on this' i can't say i fully understand everything about it, but i do know it uses embryos. now if it used foetuses, i'd understand the backlash from a lot of the pro-life group. but an embryo' come on man that ain't no feeling being. it's a lump of cells. and just think of the wonders this research can create for us. is anyone here actually against it' i'm aware i don't know all the facts, so feel free to educate me (i'm too ADDish to read a long wiki article)
