James woods runs good.. Synnah that was me out on the patio telling you to stop beating yourself up. HOW you fold your cards, literally where they land in the muck and what angle effects the order of the cards when the go into the shuffler, which order effects every future shuffle. That bad beat does not happen if you stay at that table, or if one does, it's a totally different one. You can't kick yourself about it. And yeah, there was a lot of grumbling going on in that casino, not mean-spirited or spiteful, but just the all-us-working-slobs-building-a-500K-jackpot-one-buck-at-a-time spiel and then the richest ... Re:guy who bubbled the pstars wsop tourny hello poker friends. i assure you, i had all the shorties' tables open from the time I calculated my B ratio to be >11 and was simply waiting for the inevitable. the inevitable demise of the 116 stack I saw, I celebrated, and I put my stack in for the best bad beat of my life. i saw it as going out in style. the tourney was over. i may have picked up this habit during my days at paradise, where such tourneys didn't end after the bubble, but kept going on for phucking ever, and it was fun to triple up with 92o and bust with AT when it didn't matter anymore. in fact, I won two ... The Never Ending Scandal: JJProdigy, ZeeJustin, Christo25, Mizrachi... Let's accept something as fact: when the owners of the bank leave the door open to the vault, people are gonna walk in. Multiaccounting and other forms of collusion (either with oneself or others) are everywhere in online poker. They are everywhere because by and large the providers of online gaming have left gaping holes in their security and the morally bankrupt and the morally relative among us have just done what could be done, all of them claiming "oh, I didn't know." Please. Not one person who has broken a rule or a law has been absolved of responsibility because 'they didn't know.' ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): So it finally happened - PokerRoom Hacked. sigh ^^^^^ You're right. It was all an elaborate ruse. TB members posted their own personal info then spammed the lobby for four hours with fake demands to have it removed. They shut down their own site to make it look really legit, and now they're spamming their own lobbies with spoof accounts making threats to do it again. Go read something. Re(8): So it finally happend - PokerRoom Hacked. I was ON IM WITH HIM as he hacked the chat on Saturday. He came directly to my table. He contacted me under the pretenses of a report of collusion and used the occasion to expose weaknesses in PR source code to me. It happened. Nuff said. I split. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): So it finally happend - PokerRoom Hacked. You're confusing two different events Dennis, but they are related. Pokerroom's chat was hacked twice this weekend. It was only viewable to those with the download client, but a player clearly not seated on the tables was spamming the chatbox. PR has no observer chat. As the de facto head of the Kick PR's Ass Movement over there, the Saturday chat hacker contacted me via PM. I had no idea who this guy was or what he could do when he requested my email addy to send me 'screenshots of collusion.' I never received them. He calls himself proX(tm), and claimed to be a friend of the so-called ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): ***Underage player wins $245k @ Bellagio Tourney*** Gosh, you're right, it's all my fault. The only reason stang ever came up publicly in PR is because they changed his name. They participated in helping him fly under the radar there. I always made that my issue. Not my fault it was him they had to hide. With regard to all of this, stang is merely reaping what he sowed. There is no one responsible for what's going on in the court of public opinion but him. And you bet, I'm cheering it on. People should be disabused of their fallacious notions, and he should not be allowed to fly under the radar, either in forums or at the Bellagio. Folks like ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(11): MORE SECURITY LESSONS FOR POKERROOM.COM I understand why you think it looks like self-promotion. I can only tell you it isn't. My taking this public comes from years of experience with PR that told me nothing would be done without public outcry. I have gone into Pokah and come to Pocket Fives just to exert that kind of pressure on them to deliver the goods and make public statements. I have done this to improve the experience of playing on . I LIKE INTERNET POKER. Sue me. I've got every right as a consumer to make demands and to make them with the many that share them. I'm looking for those many. The only thing I have gotten out of ... Re(18): MORE SECURITY LESSONS FOR POKERROOM.COM i hear that decatur. I just got lazy and cut and pasted from PR where I AM in fact well known and the face of the effort to get some change going. Hardly meant to say I was star. Apologies. Made this statement on PR today: "I think the following is a fair statement: PR's first line of defense against unfair practices is the player's themselves. While I can in no way be certain, I would bet that they receive far more reports of suspicious activity from players than they themselves identify. Re(18): MORE SECURITY LESSONS FOR POKERROOM.COM well, that is how it used to be done... If you can't see how Pokerroom changing the nickname of someone who by their own admission is currently under investigation is a fully underhanded thing to do the people that play there then nothing I say to you will matter (mr gonna get jumped guy). Your line of reasoning is the kind of thing that keeps the Ku Klux Klan alive and well. When pokerroom changes a name of player, a player that BIG and small names alike know better than to sit with, you may as well have given him a new face. We should have the CHOICE whether or not to sit on a ring with ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(15): MORE SECURITY LESSONS FOR POKERROOM.COM I made this post in response to a post by the mods over at pokerroom. Rodd, Todd, and all If I may, I'd like to analyze the following statement. from the mod's earlier post... We recognize the fact that allowing certain players to change their nickname while under investigation is not a good call. Hence we will try and update our routines to prevent this from happening again. With that said such a name change does not in any way change a player's status, records or profile. While I am gratified that you recognize that it was not a good call, I feel that PR only recognizes that because of the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
