So a guy just claimed he was gonna commit suicide in the chatbox... Probably jus some random trash talk, but if i remember right, stars have been known to contact authorities in the past and get them to visit the house of the persons who said that stuff on tables, jus to make sure things are ok Posted in: Poker Community |

PokerStars Mobile - Please post your reviews Well, i have to say, i just tried this out for 5 minutes after hearing about it after work, and wow, this app is just the dogs bolox. Cant believe how much effort has gone into this, when this goes worldwide, if it hasnt already, it will be huge in my opinion. After downloading the client, within minutes i had a table up and running as smooth as using my own pc. Obviously i understand that net connections etc could hamper, but for my first go at using it, it ran as smoothly as my daughters bum!! DJ Posted in: Poker Sites |

Ugh. What's my play? The big word in this is "rebuy", yes, there are times when higher pairs come up, but if im reading right, and your in rebuy hour, its a snap call for me and a 4 buck rebuy if it loses, peeps so often come up with a lot less than 10s in this situation, esp during rebuys Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Micro Stakes mtt hand discussion Well, was hoping to get a tad more discussion going off on the hand, but i guess theres not many peeps that use the site much now, guessing because of Black Friday.. As regards to the hand, i did fold the trips, based on the fact that i was so deep stacked at the time, i thought i could get a better spot later on. The toughest part was ranging him/her, which was why i wanted to maybe get some discussions going. I ended up bubbling the final table though grrrrr :/ pokerstars Hand #74587740762: Tournament #557010555, $2.00+$0.20 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level X (300/600) - 2012/01/27 22:13:56 ... Micro Stakes mtt hand discussion Hi guys The following hand happened the back end of last week, and i wanted to post on here to get some insight/discussion going off regarding hand ranges. Some info on the player involved, had been moved to the table about 5 minutes prior to this hand, so not a lot on info i can give unfortunately. I will post the results later if we get some discusions going. Basically, whats your hand ranges of villain, do you play the pot bet wise any different to how i played it, and what is your decision on the river' DJ pokerstars Hand #xxxxxxxxxxx: Tournament #xxxxxxxxxx, $2.00+$0.20 USD Hold'em ... What is your longest/worst bad run? Currently at 1 1/2 years since any "reasonable" score. Granted, there have been times when ive sat back and not played at all, but wanting to get right back into my poker for 2012, and the start ive had is jus carrying on from 2010... We keep pluggin away though, variance is a bitch, but one day, when in this situation, we all hope that variance bites someone else on the arse that one time for a big chip advantage at a key point in an mtt. What was your 1st ever Mtt win??? Monkey R&A on the old paradise, god i loved that site b4 the merge they did.. Runners are very vague as was many years ago, normally about 300-400, and was for 1300$, went on to win bigger things on Dise, then the site went pete tong and everyone pretty much deserted there. Ever since, ive had a few decent scores on stars, but very few and far between DJ Posted in: Poker Community |

Sooo.......here's the situation Thanks for responses so far, although i mentioned my past aspirations to play full time, it isnt one i have right now, i just want to put in more volume and see what happens. I've had some decent scores over the years, which i usually just withdraw the bulk of and leave my self some(again, the stakes i play, and the fact im a recreational player, i consider these to be decent scores). I believe what apresthus says about finding the right combo in poker/responsibilities will be the start of me moving forward, i think the missis believes that because i have won in the past, it's easy just to ... Sooo.......here's the situation Hi all.. I'm a recreational player, have been for around 7 years now, i have always had aspirations about playing full time, but never gone ahead with it, be it due to other hobbies/interests, or family reasons. Over the years, i've obviously taken my share of one outers at the tables, and given my share out, experienced the highs and lows of mtt poker and the up and downswings that go with. My situation right now involves the missis. Now although she has played before, she is very blinded by poker as i know it as she doesnt understand table rep, the maths, the need to switch gears if ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Any tips on dealing with table moves late in a tourney? Hi all, Not sure if this is a leak of mine( i have a few, but being worked on), but lately ive been gettin into decent positions late in tournaments, then all of a sudden, im moved 3/4 times in around 20 minutes, and things seem to go wrong from then on. Latest example: Last nights sunday mill on stars, now i never play this unless i sat into it, but do like to play it as even though my stats/results arent that great, i feel extremely comfortable most of the time playing them, and feel confident in my ability to make deep runs when i do play the high stakes tournies. Ok, so after 4 1/2 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Micro MTT Team Comp Final Scores Thanks for the contest mr blonde, congratz to zonacrew and pokerchief for your wins!! Not multitabled like that for a long time, think it prob affected some of my results and being in the uk, its hard to stay up and get in on the late night action, thanks to narcocop and blind pyro too for the team, was a good experience, and got some good advice from narco during the contest. Think when the next one runs, i may give a miss, though gonna be gettin more use to grinding more tables for more experience at it, so may enter again next time if all goes well lol Thanks Again mr blonde, your efforts ...
