do i really need to get it in here?? Here I'd shove with 10bb for sure. As you're on 11bb this is a spot where if there are quite a few players who have less than 10bb stacks i.e. 6-9bbs the you can find a fold because you'll be getting called with wider ranges and find yourself in a flip most of the time if not dominated. Therefore I think this is a perfect spot where you can fold and go through the blinds. If however you're one of the bottom stacks then I'd jamming all day everyday. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Pokerstars.com and .fr down???? This is ridiculous. I know someone on a final table right now. Are they gonna stop the tournament or resume soon' It's ridiculous cuz he has to just sit there and can't go to bed. They're doing a pretty shitty job of informing people. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Did I play this wrong?? If you know 100% you're getting raised if you limp then that's fine. There is room for unorthodox plays so long as you have a very strong read. If there are times where its going to be a limp fest then I would definitely raise preflop. I wouldn't limp because I doubt he's raising 27o if you limp so then we have to question what percentage of the time he is really going to raise you. What I would suggest though is, buying in for 250 at least in a 1/2 game and keeping it topped up regularly. Is the standard buy in not 400' Why not move down to the .5/1 game if you can't afford a full buy in. Posted in: Live Poker |

Live 1/2 Hand -- Call flop shove? Obviously you know what i mean. No need to be facetious. People turn paired hands into bluffs on this type of board. From what you're saying though I don't think he's capable of doing this so you're against sets etc and you're missing the point. This guy isn't bluffing, because he's a nit, he always has it. This guys range is not the nuts and a semibluff. It's just the nuts. He has a set for sure. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Live 1/2 Hand -- Call flop shove? He's telling you he has the nuts. This guy doesn't raise call with Axss. You're up against an overpair or a set. Most probably a set. Sometimes AKss is another hand that makes sense but you have the spade so obviously he doesn't have that. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Always folding here, right? I'd 3bet the isolator and call a jam from anyone just about. Flatting is not ideal. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

ronnieb122 prop bet with himself I call bullshit. No way are you ever gonna get a penis tattoo on your head if you lose. But if it is legit we should pay someone to enter every tournament he does and attempt to knock him out with every chance they get. Posted in: Poker Community |

SnG AQ, top pair second kicker. Thanks for your comments While I agree that folding here is correct (as the second guy calls) generally the guy that goes all in never has a better hand than you here. I would call if the other guy folded. Having said that I would fold to the guy who goes all in if I had reads which suggested he never bluffed and just raised when he had the nuts. The guys playing 3502 dollar hyper turbo's non stop, are they mad? There are people that play satellites professionally. This has become the new highest game. So these players are better off taking a shot at that (when they're already at the top of their game). Especially when more fish will be trying to play them to get in. Posted in: Poker Community |

Good or Bad Laydown in Live 5/5 game I see, thanks. Yeah that definitely makes sense, although you've been there for 3 hours' Seems like they forgot about you :) Yeah I misunderstood how much was in the pot (I assumed he came over the top for just another 200) in which case the jam on the turn would have been a pot sized bet or so. I find a fold here. I rarely expect you to be ahead here. He calls even though he puts you on a set' Well played to him if he mindfucked you but he's a dumb ass if he had a better set. Good or Bad Laydown in Live 5/5 game A must move table' If you mean they're all decent then that's not a smart move but it is what it is. Ok so you have a good image. Do you not think "wow you flop tow sets in a row" then he calls is a good signal he has a set beat' :) It seems to me you should have jsut jammed the turn as played however I'm not keen on you check raising the flop with your image. You get worse hands to fold and lose value and that goes without saying. So. In retrospect, it would be nice to call on the flop and let him barrel his pairs, over pairs draws etc on a rainbow board. You're basically screaming I've got ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
