phantom affiliates The problem occurs when FTP claims you signed up through an affiliate but you didn't. I signed up directly through FTP. I downloaded their Mac client when it was in beta. I didn't deposit for a year - which should time out any affiliate relationship that could possibly have been linked to my account. I gained no advantage or benefit from any affiliate for signing up. Yet, FTP won't budget on rakeback. After feeling more and more resentful about this, I decided not to play at FTP anymore and I really don't miss it. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Re:FTOPS ME, The Software lag was unbearable..... If you shift the Main Lobby view away from the tournament listings to something like Events or Pro Chat, sometimes it speeds things up. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Video/Cash game questions Thanks for making the video available to the community. One technical issue, though: it's not viewable on a Mac. The codec used is apparently exclusive to WMP9 on Windows. It doesn't work with Quicktime, WMP or VLC at this time. Any chance of providing the video in a different format' I'd love to see it. Re(1): playing poker in Italy It's a bit unclear. The new law makes it legal, but just last week one of my Italian friends tried to log in to two poker sites. Both were blocked. The .net version of one was not blocked. Maybe by the time you get there, the new law will have stopped the site-blocking, but for now you may have trouble reaching your site of choice.
