Are US players able to cash out on Poker Stars? Well I opted for it to be send via echeck which would directly deposit into my bank acct. I don't like dealing with paper checks. But i'll see if it clears. From experience with past withdrawals, it normally takes like 3-4 business days for me to see the funds in my account. So we shall see. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Are US players able to cash out on Poker Stars? Friday night i did a withdrawal and it put my stars balance at 0. I also got the email confirmation saying that it is processing. Tilt on the other hand did not let me withdraw my money. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Full Tilt and Pokerstars Domains Seized I made my withdrawal from stars. So far no issues. But I am not holding my breath. The money did deduct from my stars acct so it is at $0. Tilt on the other hand, I am still able to play cash, rush, sngs and mtts. I am not sure when they will start denying U.S. players, but I will continue to play on Tilt until I can't anymore. At that point, then ill do a withdrawal and perhaps start playing on cake or lock poker. Posted in: Poker Sites |

750k gtd advice I am going to be playing Full Tilt's 750k gtd this Sunday for the first time. Anybody play this before or play it on the regular' Should I stick to tight to start then open up in later rounds' I'm used to playing micro/low stake MTTs online where it is like a mine field. Took down the Showboat tournament last weekend, so I have some extra cash and confidence is high. My strength is more live play in Atlantic City casinos as I final table often (mostly $100 buy in tournies). But I know this is a different animal. Thanks for the feedback. All in or Max bet button on Stars Why doesn't Stars have an "All in" or "Max" button like Tilt and other sites do' Wouldn't you agree it would be easier to have this option especially when multi tabling sngs' I find it frustrating having to click and drag the slider all the way to the right. Just a thought. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Stars Steps Strategy?? Yea the PXF video is a step 6 that he won, but explains the overall strategy of how to win in steps. Basically being more aggressive. If you have a PXF membership, I would just watch the video over and over again until you get it. I saw it like 5 times. I have made step 6 twice from step 1. To me it got easier once you get to 4 because the sng goes from turbo to standard. Better players in later steps so more skill involved. So less of a crap shoot like in step 1-3 when it becomes a shovament after a certain level. But I just go into them like any other sng, just play to win and you will be ... Re:How many here have gone from step 1- step 6 (WSOP Pokerstars) I went from step 1 to step 6 once and bubbled from being ITM with my aces getting cracked. Took me about a week. Since that run, can't get past step 3. Always get a bad beat somehow. Took a break from steps for about a month. Looking to start back up soon. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Anyone besides me need at least a few drinks when they play live? I play well whether drinking or not drinking when playing poker live. But, I do tend to tilt less when drinking some cold ones. I am more relaxed and have more fun, but it doesnt make me better or worse. As long as I stay away from Jack, then im ok. Re(1): i know this is micro sng but did i play this right? I think you played it well. I like the c-bet on the flop. The call from him either told you that he hit the flop also or he was a draw which he was. I like the check behind him as now you can catch the club for the nuts. The 3rd club on the board may have scared him or he had no clue what was going on and is still chasing his str8. Also if he happened to hit a club flush, it gives you a chance to catch up on the river. The river card is gin for you. He was probaly trying to represent a club on the river, but didn't work. Nicely done. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): how are you getting knocked out of tourneys Same here. My showdown win % is always high (80-90%) but when it comes to my tournament life, never fails i get sucked out with me holding the best hand. Once in a while ill run into a better hand which I can accept. But when I shove with AA and get called by T7s and the guy rivers the flush, that sends me on a tilt ride. You say to yourself, time to double.....oh wait, im out...lol Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): SNG Power Tools I use SNG wizard which does the same thing and I think it was worth the money. I never used SNG power tools, but I have heard many people say they like SNG wizard better. I would download the 30 version of that and see if you like it. I know that SNG wizard can only do single table sngs and no MTTs or MTT SNGs. So maybe SNG power tools is the same in that aspect. Re(1): Hand really early at Borgata open.... Could mean 3 things. 1) he hit a set on the flop. 2) He has a flush draw and is willing to bust out on a draw. 3) He slow played aces or has a lower PP then you. With the set, you figure he would want to extract as much value as possible, but with a flush draw board, possible he wanted to take it down righ there. With the flush draw, I wouldnt understand why anyone would shove unless they are a donk and have a lot of money to burn. If he had aces, he played it tricky. He also could have had a lower overpair QQ,JJ,TT. Or even AK. Tough situation. See me, I probaly would have called and found ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Tired of not winning? Hi all, You have probaly seen a post like this before, but just need to vent. I play a lot of MTTs online on various sites and the situation I always find myself in is the tournament low stack (ie, 46 of 46, 203 of 203, 399 of 399, etc.). And it is not because i play bad, but maybe too tight. I usually try to play abc poker, your usual tight agg poker, pot control, big lay downs, etc.. But for some reason, the poker gods dont like me. I mean there are times I can get ahead, but as I get deeper, I always seem to get card dead. Sometimes I can go and hour or even 2 without a playable hand. Or ... Posted in: Bad Beats |
