Merge denies deposit, debits my account anyway
Just a disclaimer, I tried several methods of deposit both through 'poker' and 'casino' (via lock skin) with my visa bank card. It had worked just a couple weeks prior but this time each attempt was denied on screen. In fact, the last attempt said Do Not Honour, which I realized shortly afterwards was because my bank deactivated my card between attempts for bizarre activity. I reactivated the card the next morning and confirmed a long list of charges several pennies off of my intended deposit amount that were attempted at my checking account. The break is 60 min I've been watching the live feed since the start of the day and Hellmuth has been playing freight-train aggro, loose and everytime he gets to a big showdown his opponent is whiffing. Aggression and luck down the stretch are two huge factors to tournament wins..

Taj $ 85+15 midnight tourny..
The other thing not mentioned here is the midnight tourney has NO ANTES. But it's otherwise a turbo. 40-50 players seems standard towards the weekend. depends on variety of factors.

Why does the Merge network suck so much?
Sadly, I agree with OP. Despite my general optimism for Merge in the future, not much is being done... I did get an update that gave a static cashier balance display on the lobby window instead of having to click through to a browser-based cashier display. It was always quicker to just try and register for a tourney to get your available balance. With so many areas to improve upon and so, so little that stands out as different but neat, one can only hope to see some small improvements over time. Look guys, Carbon pokers new Guaranteeds......
This IS the whole merge network btw, not just Carbon -- I'm surprised how much they do have in place already with the software. I'd only expect these guarantees to grow weekly, and one can see the # of online players grow daily once PS and FTP start hitting acct's with withdrawals. Yes, almost all new clients to this network will be Americans, and like past difficulties with depositing/withdrawaling to sites this migration will certainly weed some of the more recreational players out of the ecology. That said -- alot to be desired from these sites/this network and hopefully we'll see not ...

Idea for METs
Yes, they could certainly have a promotion, daily or otherwise, for the METs. Simply put though, there are only a handful of unique accomplishments here: Having two entries condensed (and likewise having several stacks condensed). Cashing with all entries. It is possible to have say, three entries go down to two entries and then to bust one of the remaining two entries before it gets down to 9 entries total (8 unique players total). (And is the software programmed in the case of a 4-entry MET having only 180 total entries and paying 18 spots to bust a player in 27th outside of ...

It was my impression live coverage would resume on Both espns. +1 "weather delay" screen that popped up a bit ago on the feed -1 random snot blowing throughout the broadcast. should probably avoid that come ESPN2 time.. nice stage, btw. looking alot like the ads..
