Re:Obama: Bestest Prez Ever?
Just because he's the most well-liked doesn't make him the best. Let's have him take office first and see how he addresses policy issues first. People liked Nixon a whole helluva lot, was he the best prez ever'

4th break dogmonkey: 24,995 Been rather card dead. Had a few hands strong enough to take down the pot as well as a few weak ones lucky enough to take down the pot. Overall, pretty happy. If I won two hands, I'd be sitting at around 100K. 66 < Q5 (Q on flop) and AJ < A6 (six on flop) so overall, pretty good. Guaranteed $70, another 110 people and I'm at $80

Re:What to Bet Tonight?
Didn't quite expect Granger to go off for 40 or GSW to go off for 46% 3PT shooting or whatever they ended up at. Anyway, called the Boston game perfect. Boston wins by 3 on clutch, vintage KG.

Who isn't looking at ATL hah. I decided to take ATL +4 at the last second, like literally. I'm guessing Boston will win by about 2 on some clutch KG.

Re:What to Bet Tonight?
Who's going to score those points' No Ford, no Murphy for Indy. Still no Maggette for GSW. This game will end up around 105-100 for GSW, no way do I see it getting up over 227.

There's numerous NBA topics up. My closest advice is if you're looking to bet just one game is GSW/Indy UNDER 227. That's easy money.

65-46 on the year. Been slacking off on posting these and I ended up going on a little run. Let's hope that can keep up. Hawks +4 GSW/IND UNDER 227 Jazz -2.5 FWIW, I go with NOH -2 all the way, but decided not to add it in. Definitely lean with that/go with that.

I've received these 2 or 3 times and they're alright. Their steaks are above average, but just about everything else is average or below (seafood/burgers basically) but I can't say I didn't enjoy the gift.

Re:Anyone watch Stephon Curry last night? Number 1 pick in the draft--maybe?
Klink, you don't seem to be getting the point in regards to his size. 6'3 is a very odd size in the NBA. You're not quite big enough to match up 90% of the NBA's SGs, but you're not quite small enough to play against most of the NBA's PGs. That's all people say in regards to his size, and the fact he's a bit skinny, but that's nothing to worry about really.

cchan - it was meant to be a joke, not serious. marinersheep - if you read into the context of my post, it was quoting about Curry's passing ability. Of course he's been a great scorer.

Yeah, listen to two guys that are paid to make ratings/get ratings over guys who make college basketball their life (every single scout in the world)

Just a rough list off the top of my head Blake Griffin Ricky Rubio James Harden DeRozan Brandon Jennings Thabeet Ty Lawson Hansborough OK, maybe not those last two, but there's still 6 clearly ahead of him. The rest that are put in on mock draft sites I haven't really watched much, but those are 6 CLEAR choices.

Re:Anyone watch Stephon Curry last night? Number 1 pick in the draft--maybe?
Something he only began doing and developed recently. It would appear, to answer my own question, he's choosing to be a passing PG. I understand what you're saying about Redick/Curry, but the fact is they're BOTH spot up shooters. It appears Curry has gotten ahead of the "Redick curve" and realized shooting only goes so far in the NBA. If Redick learned how to get to the basket quick, who knows where he'd be right now. Again, to watch one game and say he's a great passer is just silly. Watch the NCAA tourney last year, I doubt he was the "great passer" ...

Re:Anyone watch Stephon Curry last night? Number 1 pick in the draft--maybe?
I mentioned Redick because they're nearly identical in college. Both are flashy shooters that can do nothing else. Redick is a better shooter than Curry and he's still not doing anything. I understand what you mean about mentally, because that is a huge part of basketball and I have no doubt Curry is better mentally than Redick. Regardless, it only catches up and probably passes Redick, but it doesn't put him that far ahead in the NBA game. Marinersheep, you're quite right. He's got the potential to be great, I said that earlier. Before he can be great, he has to develop ...

Re:Anyone watch Stephon Curry last night? Number 1 pick in the draft--maybe?
Again, you can say that about any good college player for UNC/Duke. And you're right that he'd be higher up right now if he was at one of those two schools. Like I said, just watch JJ Redick. Many consider Duke to be the best NCAAM program in history. Redick lead all points scored, and yet he's an average bench player. He doesn't have all the skills, because all he can do right now is shoot. The decision is up to him - he can become a PG and become a good passer and likely find a starting job averaging around 15/6 or he can attempt to turn into a SG that learns how to slash ...

Re:My Wednesday NBA Plays
Stephen Jackson is playing for GSW. Makes the bet look better, but no Maggette and Wright unlikely. Shaq is out due to a death in family, which kills my bet. Was relying on Shaq abusing Bynum like he did Bogut last night just to show him up. ADDING! Bobcats/Hornets OVER 185

Re:Anyone watch Stephon Curry last night? Number 1 pick in the draft--maybe?
You quite obviously do not understand simple basketball. College isn't the NBA. It doesn't have defenders that are better than a whole opposing team combined at your position alone, let alone times 5 of those. It's a completely different game and if you think Curry will translate to that game, you're silly.
