France vs. Ireland I'm not gonna argue that it was total bullshit. However. You need to keep in mind that the goal didn't cost Ireland the World Cup. It cost them a chance at Penalty Kicks. France is a collection of world class soccer players, a pretty good set up for PKs. (Too bad they can't play as a team to save their lives.) France vs. Ireland Wanted the French to win but not like this. Shoulda gone to PKs. I apologize to the Irish nation on behalf of France. Not only was that the worst call in history, it rewarded a pathetic effort by a football nation clearly on the decline. Domenech should be fired before the cup. If he isn't, this team will never win. Fred Jackson or McFadden? Sure Raiders were Top 10 in rush yardage but they only scored 9 TDs - tied for 28th in the league. Buffalo 14th in yards, 11th in TDs. San Diego rush D was 11th for yards, 8th for TDs....but New England was even better. Richard Seymour is gone though...but then Derrick Burgess is in there. Factor in that I'm playing the Chargers D, I'll go with Jackson. If the Chargers D has a great day, that means I'll get squaddoosh from McFadden. Make sense' Posted in: Off Topic |
