Re(1): AP 1k super account: HH on page 4, stunning IP info on page 8 from Nat... MUST SEE
I think this AP situation is merely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to corruption/cheating/stealing in online poker. Good luck to those still playing. DONK

I thnk a big red flag in these situations is when the person says they'll send you back more money than they are asking you to ship them.

This was the worst structured tournament ever. I was really looking forward to this tournament, thinking it was going to be a deepstack event where you get some play but instead it was a terrible structure. This tournament is a joke.

Re(1): Haha Global Warming is such BS...
Man-made global warming is a hoax and a political movement. You'll notice many of the most virulent environmentalists are actual socialists/communists/liberals who are anti-capitalism. It's no coincidence that the same people who are predicting a doomsday scenario for our environment also want to take hard earned money from the rich and give to the poor lazy and stupid. People have been screaming about the environment for decades. How long will it take before people stop believing "the earth is going to suffer irreversible harm within the next [insert random amount of years] if we don't do ...

Re(1): Why would a winning player use a backer?
I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here but thanks to all who contributed to my first post that got more than 10 replies lol I also saw a post on the first page about backing so I thought they could refer to this thread. And Clayton, don't you want to shoot yourself for having to ship 120K to yellowsub' Although you took home a nice chunk of change yourself........

But if you're winning all the time wouldn't your roll be increasing to the point of being able to take your own action' If you believe you can win then wouldn't you want to keep all the money if you do' I guess variance can be killer........

Why would a winning player use a backer?
Someone please explain this. I can undersand if someone needed backing to get out of a hole but if ur a consistent winning player why would you donate a percentage of your winnings to someone else' (just listened 2 Yellowub podcast)

"For example, if the flop comes 7Images/spade.gif8Images/spade.gifJImages/club.gif, and our c bet is flat called, we will need to see the turn to determine whether we want to continue with the hand." Well, yeah!! I think if your flop bet is called then you will probably have to see a turn!

Re(2): Free flop from the BB, hit top pair and bust out
I have to disagree with your first two points completely. I have played alot of poker, I'm not "getting all excited b/c I hit this on a gift flop." LMAO That's the situation I'm asking about, about playing top pair when you get a 'gift flop' as you like to call it on the BB. Bascially you reaffirmed that the only thing I should've done differently is fold to his bet on the river so, thanks I guess. I also think I could've just not put any money in the pot at all and check folded but that line also give you zero shot to win the pot so I guess I just should've folded the river. I also could've ...

Re(1): Home Game Question
1. you didn't mention the Hero was the BB until you said he 'checks his option' 2. you need to triple your starting stacks to 3,000 chips each so you can actually play poker 3. As played the hand played out fine, there aren't many options when you have that few chips but once Hero got called on the flop he should've slowed way down and definitely don't shove all in on that board unless he's doing it as a bluff and even then it's not advisabe here.
