Live Poker in Pennsylvania Supposedly the one in Erie (Presque Isle Casino) is getting a poker room on the 8th, or so my email said. The casino is named Presque Isle, but it's nowhere near it. It's actually just south of Rt 90. I forget if you follow Peach or State past 90, though. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Live Game - Cards Exposed....Bad Call?? The most amazing part of this story is that someone in a bar tourney thinks that raising 5x the BB after 4 limpers is a "big" raise. I've seen bar tourney players call far bigger with rags. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:What to do when poker stops being fun?? I went through something similar - it got to the point where I was playing because I thought I should, not because I actually wanted to. It took me a bit to realize this, so I took a lot of time off, and made myself play only when I truly wanted to, not because there was a tourney coming up that I usually played. Don't feel obligated. Maybe switch up the games' If you only play one game (NLHE), then try something new. Maybe Badugi or the 8-game tables on Stars, for variety. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:DESPICABLE ACTION BY FULLTILT POKER-PLEASE READ I see you're a calm, rational person by the way you love calling people "dope" and "dk head," so I'm sure you applied the same approach towards Full Tilt. no wonder you're having issues. Do you REALLY think authorities in NJ are going to even touch this' If so, you're as smart as your screen name suggests. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:The Constant Caller I'm not seeing the problem, here. Value bet like a mofo, and check your drawing hands. The way you describe it, he's not going to cost you anything while you know you're behind, and you'll always get paid off when you know you're ahead. Stay away from flips, whatever you do. Re:MGM 2Q profit drops 69 percent Please lobby for online poke NOW!!!!! Back when the US pokeronline ban was getting support, wasn't Harrah's one of the big supporters' I remember it struck me as odd that a casino would focus on the short-term of trying to get US players in their rooms, rather than support anything that encouraged new US players to pick up the game. Re:I guess Annette's Ban had an effect. Annette got a month-long ban, I thought' Anyways, the reasoning behind her banning is pointless. Hand holdings weren't shared and there was no intent to have one player benefit over another. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:What's the General Consensus on PokerRoom? Eventually, yeah, but not without a ton of both pressure and bad press laid upon them. Even then, they only did it grudgingly. They basically handled it as badly as possible, and have long since had the reputation of never giving a damn about the customers as long as they collect the rake. Their customer service was horrible, and I voluntarily left that site before US players got kicked off anyways. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:What should I do? What helps make this decision a bit easier is that you work for your dad. If things don't work out, it ought to be easier to get your old job back. *edit* unless by your "dad's company," you mean a place where he works, as well. I assumed he owns it.
