His win in Full Tilt's Friday Night Fight in mid-2009 made it apparent to the poker community that this guy's game truly shines on days when most good high-stakes regs aren't actually playing.

After winning the 50r on UB for the 38th time earlier this year, some suspected he was actually a super user. Others believe he is simply a mythological creature. When asked about these accusations during a recent PocketFives interview, Dave simply replied, "If I'm really a mythological creature, then why can't I fly or have x-ray vision or get a date with a girl? I rest my case."

Longtime Pocketfives.com member Dave "doubledave22" D'Alesandro of Wenonah, New Jersey first grabbed the attention of the online community in August '08 when he placed 3rd in Event #10 of FTOPS IX for $102,000. Dave found himself at another major final table just one month later when he took 7th in the PokerStars WCOOP Event #1 for $9,000. In January '09 he earned $71,900 for his 4th place finish in the Ultimate Bet Online Championship.

Since then he has had final table appearances in the Ultimate Bet $100K Guaranteed, PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand and $100 rebuy, and has outright wins in the Full Tilt $30 and $50 rebuy as well as the Nightly $70k on Pokerstars. Dave is an active member on the forums and has been a Pocketfives.com member since January, 2006.
