Is this game beatable? (Live PLO) Currently I'm crushing the 2-5 nlh only game. Thats on a different night than the plo nlh round by round. The nlh only night doesnt attract all 3 players but is still great action. If I have another winning session in nlh I'll take a shot in the plo round by round the following night. Is this game beatable? (Live PLO) I know its hard to rule out collusion given the info I have provided. But I am 99% sure its not collusion. A couple reasons why is these 3 guys are so different from one another and do not hang out away from the table. One owns a pizzaria, another a construction company, and the other may or may not be a drug dealer. Another reason is they NEVER muck their hands. They always show what kind of garbage they chased you down with or what they were trying to chase you down with. Also, I witnessed just the other night a 4 way all-in with one card to come. Is this game beatable? (Live PLO) Its not collusion. Its just 3 idiots with money who like to gamble it up at their buddies house. blinds are 5-5 I should add that all 3 players are not there some weeks. When only 1 or 2 out of the 3 are there it is a much more manageable game. Due to the fact that they are not going get the same action from other players. But when all 3 are sitting in, the circus is in town. Also they started playing round by round with a round of plo then nlh. Because players have been requesting it. Is this game beatable? (Live PLO) This is a private house game. PLO where initial buy-ins range from 200 to 1000. 3 regulars drive the action. They constantly bet pot and rarely fold. They want to play big pots and rarely can you isolate any one of them. Show down is usually between the 3 of them and maybe 1 other player. Its almost like you are playing against 1 guy with 12 cards, and every street is potted. Usually 2 of them are huge losers and 1 of them is a huge winner. Then the rest of the table varies. Re:Which Stars or FTP commercial do you like, or which one tilts you? i would say they all tilt me a little bit since they're targeting new players who know nothing about poker. but the worst is when a bet or a call is made and it looks like they are throwing a handfull of chips across the room. Re:Anyone going to Turning Stone May 5-11? Ive been to TS a handful of times for week long events... and from my experience, staying at the casino hotel/tower is by far your best option. Ive stayed at the shithole red roof in about 5 mi away, and ive also stayed at the bed and breakfast mentioned earlier in this thread. However nothing was better than waking up in the morning, taking a shower, get dressed 10 minutes before the start of the tournament, ride the elevator to the lobby, get out and walk to the ( insert multi purpose room tournys are held in here). Re(1): best and worst poker shows on tv I cannot stand any "made for TV" poker game. If its not an actual EVENT, like the WSOP, a WPT final table, or the USPC, I will not watch. Its just so redundant, who is the genius that thinks putting sit'n goes on TV is entertaining' High stakes poker is borderline for me. Itd be one thing if the players were in their normal setting doing what they do and the TV crew was there for them and not the other way around. I know I would be pissed if I didnt really feel like playing a certain day... but I had a date and a time i had to be in a seat and play with MY money for others entertainment. ... Pretty sick for huge pot I will admit that trojans beat is a little sicker but this was for an enormous pot. Hello Everyone I've been a member here at P5's since June, 2005. I would just like to re-introduce myslef since its been a while. I play mainly on stars as Douglas333. I have had success playing online but really love the live game. I took almost a full year off of playing at all to just enjoy everything life has to offer. I started playing again at the beginning of this month and have been running decent. Nothing to get excited over, only 1 FT but im working on my game and would love to become an active P5's member again.
