There has been a lot of speculation about Lesnar's meeting with UFC, including how much WWE knew in advance, with some people believing the whole thing was a work and part of the "Lesnar has left WWE" storyline. WWE sources have indicated that WWE had nothing to do with the meeting. Lesnar told WWE officials afterwards that he met with Dana White at the show, but nothing came of it. Lesnar reportedly pitched the idea of "doing something" with UFC while still working with WWE, but Dana White turned him down because he's very cautious about mixing "sports entertainment" with legitimate MMA ...

ya ya, i understand the inner workings of wrestling too. im just surprised that if the ufc end of it is a work, that dana white would go along, because any association with wwe hurts his ability to sell the ufc as 'legitimate', not to mention that brock was one of the biggest ufc draws dana had, and he retired during his contract which would most likely piss dana white off. and to whoever was talking up the seriousness of lesnars disease, lets not get crazy. lesnar retired because he hates the constant grind of being a top level athlete which is why he took the part time deal with the wwe. ...

i don't think so' religion is more or less based on a conclusion. they hand down scripture and say it's the truth because some crazy guy told them it is, and everyone bought it. science is a little different. i wouldnt say religion is a search for truth, as much as it's an undeniable fact to the people that believe it.

is this lesnar thing really gonna happen though' he signed a contract with wwe and even though he quit/got fired/suspended/suing wwe or whatever is happening on tv, he's still under contract, and I don't think they would allow him to fight ufc fights unless secretly theyre working on some ridiculous cross pomotional angle which seems unlikely. i feel like dana white is getting played somehow

it's more about the frequency in which you drink. for starters, beer in canada is typically a little stronger than the states, but if you go forever without drinking, then have a few beers, youll probably feel it. and being legally intoxicated and being buzzed are different things. if the legal limit is .08, it doesnt mean that if youre at .07 youre of clear mind, or if you're at .09 youre smashed, a small amount could affect judgement.
