Re(3): Best commercial you've ever seen?
the commercial where they digitally edited a bunch of clutch plays in baseball, basketball, football to look like they were actually botched plays. ie jordan's shot rims out against the jazz in the nba finals, jeter flips the ball behind the catcher and montana's receiver drops the ball in the endzone.

Re(3): Who uses the SAGE System when they are in Heads-Up play?
not a very informative article. in fact, it can be argued that the sage system is still playing too tight for headsup. in any small blind/big blind confrontation where either stack contains 13 or fewer big blinds, the small blind will be making a +ev play by shoving with any two cards. Also, when the ratio min(sb stack, bb stack):bb is 7to1 you don't benefit from playing "normal" poker, you still have far too few chips to play anything but an allin pot. i don't suggest anyone use this system as a guideline for headsup play.

not sure elcapitano can be used as an example, he's probably playing a last longer for more money than the entire prize pool of the freeroll.

Re(9): On Kobe's 81---it puts what Wilt did in perspective
1) wilt didn't face the competition kobe does 2) wilt didn't have to deal with the 3 second rule 3) wilt was allowed to turn his free throws into layups by running from half court and taking off at the free throw line. no one will ever touch 100 points in a game, but kobe's 81 points was a more dominating performance.

Re(3): California Hold 'Em
igoturnutz... adding cards to the deck definitely cuts down on the amount of bad beats. imagine someone moving in on the flop in nlhe with the nut flush draw, now imagine them making the same move while playing with a 5 suit deck, the probability of them hitting there suited card goes down significantly. similarly, adding more ranks to the deck would make it statistically harder to hit an open ended straight draw or gut shot.

Re(5): UB WSOP "super mega sat" lmao
imo sats to rebuys (especially rebuy sats to rebuy sats) are the most retarded idea ever, why would you give satellite winners only one buyin to a rebuy' if you insist on running sats to rebuys give the winners 3-4 buyins.

Re(14): This is a stand up player...
there's nothing classless or disrespectful about stealing the blinds of a player who is sitting out. if anything, it's disrespectful to sit out in the middle of a match and expect your opponent to give you a walk. your chips and your hand are your own responsibility.

Re(13): KK on the bubble ??? did i play it right ???
he cannot make any meaningful reraise preflop that doesn't commit him to pushing on the flop there is no "progressive thinking" to do here, any play other than a push is too weak a play.

Re(2): Help From the High Stakes Players - Serious
you have to go with muddy on this one. he six tables 5-10 on party and absolutely crushes the game. he probably makes more money multitabling than taylor would make playing his one table of 50-100. plus, since he's 6 tabling one session isn't subject to as much short term variance as GP would be potentially be playing with (esp. if he plays mahatma).

jazzy that's pretty ignorant if our soldiers do something immoral or unethical they should be punished. insurgents acting immorally or unethically should be punished likewise but we rarely have control over that. policing our own is far from an attempt to "undermine" the military you should be ashamed jazzy

you played it fine and got burned, you're probably not going to get any action on that flop so you checked the nut hand hoping someone would catch up he made a set on the turn and you got him allin while you were still ahead, nice hand
