My image was super lag, two players on my left were competant/decent the others were super weak passive. Thoughts on this line and ranges of villian. Big162 flop set vs. very good villain
Can't see how this is anythin other than a shove...If he is bluffing i highly doubt he continues on the turn when u flat cause if your b/c this flop looks like Q+ at least. His range is pretty polar here in that he could be r/c to induce from worse draws if he has like Axdd. I think anythin other than shovin here is bad, even clickin it is bad cause than your giving him the chance to just flat and get there opposed to rejammin. Shove, hope he calls with big draw and fade. p.s. with vililan in position hes going to float so much more often than raise which is y i think his range is so polar ...

yes and its not even close...playin in peak hours as opposed to off peak is like comparin poker before 2001 to poker in 2012. Don't think its erroneous to say playin off peak tournament schedule can yield an roi 3-5x higher dependin on game selection. Volume is obviously the oppt. cost with this approach

well they put my cashout on hold a bout two weeks ago sayin nothin about it except that I had to get in touch with security 10-12 days went by nothin and than tuesday morning woke up to an email/suspended account and nothing on top of that after replying all my information etc.. asking for phonecalls, responses etc.. nada

I dunno dude, I used to say only the best things about stars security but since my move it has been nothing but a massive hassle and fwiw I am holding onto other players $ from a 2+2 bap i put up for this upcoming weekend. They locked my cashout for several weeks b4 they decided to lock me out for good. It's a pretty simple task to follow through and I have had zero communication for several weeks when I've tried repeatedly to get in touch so I can prove my innocence. hey moorman I'm in vancouver as well and was being investigated around the same time. Also have sent numerous emails back and forth without a response or phone calls.. As far as ever using a VPN, I didn't even know what that was till the other day. Thx for responses guys helps a bit knowing other people were/are in same situation

Pocketfives Training Discussion: Hand vs well known villain
I really like call and c/c river...just an amazing card for him to turn heaps of hands that have showdown value into bluffs knowing its going to be near impossible for u to continue given the turn texture. With that being said I'd think he would r/c with a ton of his pair/straight/flush combos opposed to callin than donking turn against ur stack depth. Think its a great spot to get value b/c of the "awful" texture... c/c and than c/c most rivers that dont complete diamonds or KJ/KQ hands. Think he is good enough to apply max pressure on that turn texture obv. MY line...check tank call turn ...

+1, love this line a ton fwiw given the stack sizes... your gettin tons of value vs hands he may float flop with where double barrell ur folding out imo. Obvi u run the risk of him checkin back big draws and maybe some qx type hands but also pot controllin if he does check which could necessarily not be the worst when we go to b/f most river textures.

Deep in the 22$ 1R/1A on stars. Xavitop 4bet shoves, is this a standard call?
reallllllllly have to agree with flush entity here... I think way to many people take to strong of lines with AK 3b/callin.... 3b here this deep in bb from ep raise just looks so strong to the point I highly doubt villian is ever 4b hands that ak crushes.... I think by flattin you can play an underrepped hand oop and get tons of value thru villians Ax hands that we would b normally foldin out pre. Lotta roboting I see with AK where "its standard hand 3b/call high five etc.." but i think a lot of logic is lost in what hands were tryin to induce in certain spots. So I think I'm value betting the river..
given the dynamic only reason I'd ever bet this river is if I think bettin will induce a jam from missed spades and worse pairs...given the dynamic I'm not sure this is the case so checking with a plan to re-eval his bet sizing and timing might be best line here..but b/c u bet i think u have to call here and like it when he flips over missed spades imo edit: seems like he can have a 6 here a lot since he defended his bb and floated two streets but meh hate b/f here plus ur river lead looks weak as hell

Weird spot in the 2nd chance vs IDOLLS
Think if your bettin the river for value you have to bet call. Seems like the logic here would be to bet/call river against a laggy player so that you can get spazz value otherwise I don't see many hands that are worse that are going to just call a bet. With that being said, I'd radther check call oop here, with every draw missing seems like your more likely to induce a bluff out of a check than a bet call. But if I'm betting river it's obviously for value so not folding to a jam.
