Re:Later that day Yes the QQ vs the 77 and having it lose is disheartening. But you had over 50 big blinds and he had well over 50 big blinds. Plus he had the ability to stack you off. That being said, obviously you put your money in as a huge favorite and this would qualify as a bad beat. What was your table image at this time' What was his table image' Were you ultra aggresive and picked up a great hand and just out played him. Or was he ultra aggresive and thought he could bully you around with his chip stack' I see that he raised a decent amount. The other guy just calling is interesting. I would range ... Re:Why I hate Joe Sebok Thank you threeven. I might make that picture my desktop background for awhile. And it appears the blinds were 15/30 not 30/60 which means the random guy min raised. And I forgot to mention that when i lost a large percentage of my stack on my play I had 99 a few hands later and lost to AK. When the 10 came on the river giving the opponent the straight. Woo is me. I'm over it now though. But thanks again for the sweet background! Posted in: Bad Beats |

Why I hate Joe Sebok I am 100% aware that in a standard situation this hand was played very poorly but considering what was at stack... I found it interesting and wanted to share and see what other people thought as I consider this one of the most interesting hands I have played in my 7 years as a amateur low limit MTT online Tournament player. December 13, 2009 Tournament is about 45 minutes deep and the Chip average is about $1,600 and the table image for everyone at this point is on some level tight. Random dude limps under the gun for 60 chips with about chip average of 1,600 behind him. Folds around to ... Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re:Bankroll Management $50 Deposit Well usually with a $50 deposit it last the weekend and i go busto or i get it up enough for a cash out of 50 to 100. I guess I can justify spending $20 at the bar so easily on over priced beer that this is jsut a form of entertainment for an amatuer and instead of dropping the said $20 on beverages on other things like movies etc.. I can justify dropping $5 or $10 on a few hours of entertainment. Summed up I have no br mgmt but can justify my "huge buy ins" Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Bankroll Management $50 Deposit I am a low limit tournament player and sng player. And was wondering if playing in $10 and $5 etc... NL tournaments and qualifers into bigger tournaments is consider awful bankroll management' I understand that each of those tournaments ranges from 10 to up to 20% of my entire bankroll but feel that if one can have decent success at in those tournaments with shots at larger cashes to one day get a larger bankroll the risk vs reward is ample enough. Does anyone else here do something similiar along these lines' I also know playing in the .55 cent and $1 games are just not fun to me so the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): the hand you just beg for I can also think of countless times in tournaments where I wish my over pair held up also. I just lost a hand in a tournament where I flopped trips and lost to runner runner full house. Posted in: Bad Beats |
