( although it should NOT have ) In that instance..No ONE should fold kings in that spot. It is a cash game and you are getting great value on a call. If he has aces then he has aces.. The truth is you both played that particular hand terribly.. you NEVER want to play a multi way pot with kings, no matter how profitable post flop play is at the table. You needed to isolate. I play 1-2 almost exclusively and I am being honest.. him RR to 9 and you RR to 20 IMO you both deserved for the JQ short stack to flop quads. It is to easy for collusion to occur so it IS against the rules to talk about your hand in ANY way while there is more than one opponent left in the hand. HOWEVER, in my experience the rule is rarely enforced, other than to issue a warning that is NEVER heeded lol. At 4-8 I highly doubt it will EVER be enforced.. so to answer your question: it IS out of line, even illegal however it is almost impossible to avoid.. although I agree with the other guy... in that you should have just folded preflop.
