A list of all daily online poker tournements
Hello all, thought I would ask here if anyone knows if a list like this exists' I would like to start using some more poker sites but knowing what kind of tournements they have at what times would really help my decision as to which ones to download' Any help would be great.

Staking
brief poker history: I started playing in 2005 exclusively on Party poker, after a tough first 6 months watching those around me winning and me losing I started to realise that there must be a reason for this and I started to devour every piece of poker material I could get my hands on whether it be books, internet or T.V. I couldn't get enough of it and to be honest, my passion has never died away. I am still reading poker books all the time and figure that the learning is endless. That is one of the things that I truly love about this game, no matter how much you play you can still play ...

Backing and Staking Discussion
How much to I need to be askig for from my backer/s to be playing anything up to the sunday $530' So looking at an average buy in of around $250 probably. At the moment I play about 60 tournies a week. I have an ROI of about 40% over a large 6 year MTT sample. I think my average buy in at the moment is about $100 and I kind of live off my bank roll (can't get any of these figures exactly at the moment as i have only just now opted in for the detailed stars tracking on opr). My bank roll management has been pretty much no existant I just spent what i want to when I wanted to, living the high ...

Backing and Staking Discussion
I have seriously considered this. I would only be recieving investment from people who understand the poker world and apprieciate the idea of varience, but although this is the case I still need to come up with some numbers so as to explain to them what it is I need, what it is i'm trying/hoping to achieve and what they will gain from my time spent on my computer.

poker investment business plan
Didn't really know what to title this but I thought you guys might be able to help: Basically I have some friends and family who are interested in investing in my tournement poker carrer. My question is how do I go about doing this, Should I draw up a business plan telling them which tournements I will play in and what returns they can expect (if any) What's the best way to work these things out' do i just go on stats from sites like opr' Has anyone had experiance of doing this' Is there anywhere online which would give me a good template for doing such a business plan' I would really ...

Full Tilt Poker demonstrating ridiculous business strategy
Firstly I hate FTP, they have the worst customer service ever! my account got hacked and they didn't give a toss wouldn't give me the time of day! That being said, they have got their game together the things they are doing now are awsome! Stars signing isildur means nothing he's done his best on ft anything now on stars is just sponsered marketing. Good luck to ft, as a brit i just wanna see party back in the game! p.s. maaadddaaaafkaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Dollar going busto...
LOL WOW. I could write you an essay on U.S. fiscal policy and it's flaws, but that would take way longer than just saying don't leave ridiculous sums of $$ (or any currency for that matter) in any poker account. no matter how hack proof they claim to be they do still get hacked( trust me i, had my full tilt account done over last year fortunatly it only had about 1k in it at the time, but that's for another thread).

What should have been my play here with JJ
i like the flat call here! maybe a level thing i don't know what game you were playing in. The flat could induce an attempted squeeze from either sydney or sillie who are both deep and could see it as a good spot to make such a move, with that your jacks have good value. Say he opened with ace j you flat and one of the blinds wakes up with ace 10 and sees a good spot for the squeeze' with the 3 bet shove you will only be getting action from other players who have you dominated or racing. Obviously it's a mute point as on this flop you are going to double him up all day long no matter how you ...

wcoop 11 crazy structure any ideas
joined the wcoop 11 about 30mins late didn't look into the strucure but it is a bit crazy, just increasing antes. At the moment we have antes of 50 and big blind and small bliind of 5 each. there are big variations in people opening from limping 5 to betting 355 at the table. My question is this if we were at 150 300 no antes there would be pretty nuch in the pot and people would be opening for 750 ish, why aren't people sizing there bets like that here' Maybe a basic question, but this is the first time i have played in a tourney with this structure and just wondering what people think, ...

FTOPS 20, 4th place, stud hi/lo exit. please analize
thx for the comments traction, sounds like you understand what i'm getting at. P.S. This is not a bad beat post I play thousands of hands a day and get worse beats than this all the time, nobody wants to hear them. I thought this was a genuinly intersting spot and wanted experianced hi/lo players to see if things were done correctly.

He did have to catch runner runner (a2, a4, a5, aq, 22, 44, 55, aa, qq) without me catching a 3 or king to scoop when the money went in. So no not the worst in the world granted, but nasty!

FTOPS 20, 4th place, stud hi/lo exit. please analize
I guess I'm just tinking if I had't reraised on 5th street then the action would have slowed down and I would of probably got it checked down to the end, obviously hindsight is always 20/20, but I just think either I was too aggressive on 5th street or he was too aggressive there' It was a pretty bad beat as if he hit his wheel I would of still had the high with the fh. but I am not really crying about that (well not anymore anyway) I just think I could have survived longer by being less aggressive.
