Re:FTP Doug, fix the decompression error
Restarting the computer is not going to stop a decompression error. That error is in the download.

FTP Doug, fix the decompression error
The error keeps coming up on my screen when I'm trying to download the software. I've uninstalled the FTP software and now the new one won't download. The update didn't download either b/c of the same error. That's why I uninstalled the software. But the way it sounds, the update may not be worth it.

Bodog's worse best player -- Alienface
Not just from me, from others from the site who have played against him. Talent -- questionable. Lucky -- definitely. Cheat -- who knows' but how does he consistently shove with crap and win. Re:Awesome start to day
Tough ones Jon. However, those beats are nothing new us low level players when you play against donks who don't have a clue. Will you outplay these type of players from time to time, YES, but we'll face more beats than wins vs. the clueless. You can't outplay them, only outdraw them. GL at the table!

Re:So Frustrated
Mander, I respect your and Maven's understanding, but watching the pros play is not going to help with the tilt factor — it may actually increase tilting. B/c of the lower level guys make the same play with their AKs vs. 22 and the 22 guy will not fold on a scary board all the way to the river early in tourneys. That's where the biggest tilt factor happens in lower limit MTT — questionable plays by weak players in the first hour. Do we want them to make those plays — hell yes — but the problem is a lot of the time you have to dodge all 8 weaker players at table. Good players will ...

Re:So Frustrated
Sorry Maven, but the top online pros don't play against as many bad players as the lower stakes players. Yes, there are big money donkeys out there but there are less of them. Most of the players who play in $1K weekly tourneys know what they are doing. Is there bad beats from these players — yes — but these players don't call raises out of position with J3 suited and chase the flush to the river. Most of the better low stakes players have just as good understanding as the higher stakes guys. Bottom line is when you play against 8 bad players at table one of them is going to get ...

Re:Please Give ME HOPE.
The play doesn't change much at the higher buy-ins. Just poker players with more money is all they are. There are chasers at every level if they think they can chip up early. GL at the tables!

They've also tweaked the schedule for us late night East Coast guys from midnight-4 a.m. I agree with ya, VAFLZ, low to mid stakes is the way to rebuild the site. I think they got ahead of themselves a couple of years ago. Baby steps are the key. GL at the tables!

Re:what idiot calls most of his stack first hand with a double gutter
Double gutter' This is actually called a double-belly buster. He basically has an open ended straight draw. Not many are going to lay this down even in bigger buy-ins for MTT. Plus, your bet on the flop says I missed the flop and I hope you don't call. I would have called you the same way b/c more than likely I'll have 14 outs to win the hand. Unlucky you had 10 10, but I would never bet that much on the flop. GL at the tables!

Re:CMON
And this is coming from your Q10 shove. LOL Dude the game is more about luck than ever b/c big hands hardly hold up online. Just roll with the punches and hope to be a little more luckier. Here is a thing to watch in the next week or so: Watch all the 3-way all ins and watch the worse hand pre-flop win. It happens way more than it should. I argued with a guy the other night on FTP when I was all-in with the biggest stack vs. two smaller stacks. I had AKs, one had QQ and the other 10 10 and the 10s hit a set. He preceded to tell me I had the worse hand all in. LOL Any good player knows ...

Re:Do you look up other players stats?
The skill is this: I know how to use the Internet and the bad players don't. Looking them up to find out what you are dealing with is fine, and it's always good for argument to tell them how bad they are. It can be a tilt factor to get your chips back.

Re:WTF spot 4 hands into Bodog 5k tonight, help please.
The SB raiser hit top pair and the other has some sort of straight draw and more than likely a gutshot. If he has QQ, he made a bad raise with two limpers who get to bet after him. The bet of 60 into a 260 pot almost guarantees he doesn't have top set or even a set. GL at the tables!

Re:LOL, is this a slowroll, dude is saying.....
Dude, it's not a horrible play with my stack size vs. your stack size at that point of the tourney. You knew a call coming b/c it would have left me with 14K in chips, which was a little bit higher or right at the average stack size at that point of the tourney if I remember correctly. Plus, I had invested more than 5.5K in chips at that point, I'm calling another 6K into a pot about 14K. 90 percent of the time you have nothing and it's a bluff and my play would be correct. Only four hands would have me beat (AA, KK, QQ or AQ b/c JJ would not call on that board), and you had ...

Re:LOL, is this a slowroll, dude is saying.....
I'm not venting. He asked for time pre-flop and used a few seconds of it. And at that point I knew had a big hand, by his hollywooding. But he then used his the whole 15 seconds (and actucally it's longer than 15 seconds -- it just tells you when you have 15 seconds left) to act before making his decision on a Q high board post flop. With KK on a Q high board, it's not hollywooding that is a snap call and you accept AA as a cooler at that point of the tourney, if that was the hand I had. He slow rolled it b/c he let his final 15 seconds go down to act for a 2 second decision ...

Re:Is this some kind of joke? My first time deep in the 3r in awhile....
I could be wrong, but in my book, 70-30 is not crushed. He's scared of only two hands there — AA or AK — and you had neither one. A crazy shove with his stack size, but a shove I think I fold QQ with 55K left in my stack. GL at the tables!

Re:Why I can't win a sit an go this month
You need to fold QJ off there every time to the bigger stack. Not being mean but any A or any pair is beating you there. No need to force the issue when you're probably behind pre-flop. Another thing to remember, once you post your BB it's not yours anymore and don't protect especially when the bet says don't. Just my opinion. GL at the tables!

Re:Bodog Poker email campaign thread
Just for you Pottz, Long live the Dog, and screw all the haters! My only issue is the tourney schedule. I play a lot at night b/c of family time, and I work the 3-12 shift. They took a lot low limit tourneys after midnight off the schedule that I had played regularly. I've said for a long time they should make the 2:45 a.m. Turbo (which is now at 3:20 a.m.) a $1K like it is now. I believe more people would sign up for that tourney at the 2:20 or 2:40 a.m. time slot. It would probably get almost 150 in those time slots. My only bad experience with the new beta is it lagged a little bit ...
