Two bad plays? AQs and TT
I kind of like the shove in hand #1, especially because it's just an $8 tournament and you'll often find a lot of people calling your shove with 22-JJ and even as weak as A2xx. I wouln't advise making that move at higher stakes because you'll usually only get called if you are beat. Hand #2, I go all in 90% of the time. 10% of the time I fold, only when I have history leading me to believe that is a smart play.

5 million cash or 5 new languages?
Rosetta Stone requires learning a langauge, not alien chip to your brain insta learn type shit. And yes, if I knew the 10 most spoken languages in the world, I'd make millions in no time. God damn you OT people are brutal. If my thread bores you, GTFO maybe'

5 million cash or 5 new languages?
Well, to some, money isn't that important. I am far from rich and my tipping point would be 10 languages...throw me in that machine and we have a deal. Doesn't matter how much money you offer me, i'm turning it down. spanish, russian, italian, french, japanese, chinese, german, bengali, arabic, portuguese FYI! How many people do you know that speak 10 languages' How many job opportunities would you get from it' You'd make 5+ million in no time.....

5 million cash or 5 new languages?
Hypothetical situation: For some irrelevant reason, an alien creature from galaxies far, far away comes to our planet and knocks on your door. It doesn't matter why, but he/she/it offers you a choice. 5 million US dollars, cash, instantly, OR the opportunity to have 5 additional languages (any of your choice) instantly implanted into your brain. What do you take' What is your tipping point to sway you from one side to the other' For example, if you said you'd take the money in the situation above, what if the offer was 3 million' Or how about 1 million' Also for the other side.... what if ...

JJ @ FT Bubble...Call or Fold?
TBH, this is EXACTLY what I was thinking. It was a real tough call for me, but I did indeed call, and he showed A5xx. My hand held up, and after some bad luck, busted in 2nd. I just know I'll be in this same situation again and wanted to see what some others think about the spot. Call, call, and call it is... glad I didn't fold xD

JJ @ FT Bubble...Call or Fold?
No real reads on the chip leader. He wasn't a maniac up until that point, but he did get his chip leader stack by hitting a 3 outter AJxx vs AK... AK opened, he re-shoved AJ... you know the rest. No HUD stats, and no important specific history between hero and villain. If I call and lose, I'm out and win like $150. If I call and win, I'm set up for an easy top 3 finish at worst, and can almost guarantee $1000+. Really tough spot IMO, with pay jumps about to increase substantially and the fact that it's the top 2 chip stacks clashing... I'll post results a bit later.

JJ @ FT Bubble...Call or Fold?
Tournament= $30 1r1a Turbo Entrants= ~150 15 Places Paid. 10 People Left in Tournament. My stack= 250k (2nd place) Chip Leader= 300k Chip Average= ~90k Blinds= 4000/8000 Chip leader is UTG to my right. He open shoves his 300k stack. I look down at JJ and timebank that shit. Only 5 players at my table, my stack being the only one chip leader wouldn't really want calling his shove unless he had a MONSTER (the other 3 players had under 125k). Call or fold...and why'

whats the perfect reshove steal size?
Call me crazy, but for this specific situation, I'd prefer jamming 89 suited over A8 suited. At least if you get called, you'll most likely have straight possibilities, flush possibilities, and 2 live cards (obviously not if they have 99+..but you get what I'm saying). Personally, I'm folding 89 suited AND A8 suited in this situation anyways, BUT if you're in the re-steal kind of mood, you definately don't want to make the attempt and get called by a better ace. Hoping for only 3 outs really sucks xD

I'm pretty sure there's no search option to find other players' entries. Only way to see other entries is if they are on the leaderboard, in a group with you, or provide you with their entry link.

Big blind vs Small blind in a 2.75$ tourney on pokerstars
Ehh...I'm no expert, but it's pretty close I think. $2 tourny... I'd probably be inclined to call for a few reasons. Most other higher stake tournies would be a fold for me though, as I'd prefer finding a better spot than calling my 15BB stack off with A9. Reasons I consider calling: If I were the small blind, i'd be putting you (~15 BB stack) all in everytime it folded around to me with any pocket pair, any ace, and probably J9 suited+... because of this, you are definately ahead of villain's shoving range IMO, and only need to be right a certain % of the time to have the call be ...

Finally got a Win :)
I've received 2 checks from Merge since Black Friday. They take 4-6 weeks to approve the withdrawal, then another 7-10 business days to get you the check. It's basically a 2 month process, which sucks, but at least I can confirm that they DO pay out their customers and the checks cleared just fine for me. Also requested a max check withdrawal ($2500 US) yesterday. Haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail yet, but I assume I'll get the check around mid-March. I'll keep you posted if anything goes South xD

I watched a bunch of the demos. I found it interesting seeing another person's thought process while playing hands and the reasons behind their actions. I also listened to Gags one day for a free group training session; it too was helpful.

Finally got a Win :)
I've always been jealous of the people who make their own brag threads, so now it's my turn, although mine is hardly a real brag :( I'll try and keep it as short as possible since no one really cares... but hopefully my story will help motivate some others who are struggling with their poker endeavors xD I played on Full Tilt and pokerstars for 2 years pre-Black Friday, without much success. A few LOW 4 figure scores here and there, to just barely consider myself a breakeven player. It was a hobby to me though, not a profession, so I was okay with the entertainment poker brought me with the ...

Full Tilt Poker Suspending my account for no reason!!! Thoughts?
Good luck man. Full Tilt suspended my account over 6 months ago for "being associated with someone who had fraudulent activity." I was in no way, shape, or form involved in anything having to do with "my friend." When I say I follow the rules and have NEVER done anything against FTP terms/rules, it's the 100% truth. Full Tilt doesn't care. They have no interest in helping me resolve my issue until "my friend" resolves his issues with them. Unfortunately for me, this "friend" really isn't my friend, and we are so far out of touch that there is nothing I can do but accept it and call it what ...

funny spot with 88 from cutoff
flatting is horrible' still leaves you with like 20 BB if you flat/ fold on missed flop....we're talking about full tilt here...88 and 55 make sets 80% of the time! i have it recorded over 50k hands played....5's and 8's make a set 36% more than all other pairs I get... true story.

I barely squeaked into the playoffs. I am @ the 6 spot in the standings (6 make playoffs). RB dilemma: (Pick 2 to play, .5 ppr Format) LeSean McCoy Darren McFadden Chris Ivory Marshawn Lynch Obvious choices= McCoy and DMC. Marshawn obviously has no shot at making the cut, but Chris Ivory, on the other hand, has a great match-up. Does Ivory have a possible edge over DMC or McCoy though' WR dilemma: (Pick 3 to play, .5 ppr Format) Chad OchoCinco Sidney Rice Malcom Floyd Danny Amendola Obvious Choices= I don't know! 3 handed at FT of $3r rush, looking at a min 4 bet..
Aight, thanks for the replies... I re-raised all in, he called with KK...and he held obviously. I knew he had a huge hand. The final table was super nitty... not much 3-betting at all. I didn't really think villain would 4 bet me with anything other than AK,AA,KK... I considered folding, but then said to myself, 'we're only 3 handed, can i really lay this down' i've already made a nice profit, if he has AA/KK i'll just chalk it up as a cooler.' If I folded, I would've had more than enough chips left to still fight for the win. Is a fold THAT bad' I know shoving all-in isn't bad with QQ, ...

3 handed at FT of $3r rush, looking at a min 4 bet..
Unfortunately I don't have the HH. I thought I did a pretty good job explaining the situation though ;/ And fwiw, the button raiser had not been overly aggressive by any means. The occasional steal, but folding on the button wasn't rare for him.

3 handed at FT of $3r rush, looking at a min 4 bet..
Final table of the $3 rush re-buy on FTP. $42,000 prize pool. ~20 million chips in play, divided almost equally amongst the final 3. Blinds 50/100k. I pick up QQ as the big blind with roughly 6 million chips. Button raises to 280k. Small blind folds. I re-raise to 780k. Button takes about a minute, and min re-raises to 1.3 mil or so. What's your play and why'
