v necks are pretty awesome and comfortable. i wasn't into them at first and seemed like a hipster thing until more and more stores and shirts started coming out with them. im definitely not down with that last one as thats the more american apparel hipster v neck look. but ive got a ton of the top and 2nd ones that are of good solid colors from h&m that look pretty fresh and very comfortable.

Dealing with the bs that comes with a job, rant away!
considering if the manager doesn't give a crap, i would definitely be really relaxed and lenient myself. i'd be cool w the regulars and deliver great service. you seem the type that i don't like going to when i go somewhere for service, the type that isn't that happy to be where they're working or that i'm bothering them of their time.

Help me avoid an epic failure (banging my ex boss)
this is advice for high schoolers or teeny boppers. for the older crowd, you just go in there having a good time, talkin while having drinks. eventually that buzz will kick in (if not buzzed already when you get there) and sexy time will soon follow. the movie thing prob won't even happen.

i worked for the dodgers this past season, and im sure gonna miss the new and upcoming changes that this year will be bring. it was sad seeing so many empty seats because of McCourt, but will be awesome and refreshing once magic takes over. the stadium will be nuts and energetic once again.

Knowing what you know now, what college major would you choose?
I wouldve gone as far as back early high school and not been such a slacker and gotten into AP classes instead of the regular ones with all of the retards and thugs. Transferred from private to public school freshman year of high school and felt my potential in math and science went down a lot. If I would've stayed strong in those areas, I would've tried and gone into something medical related since that's huge and I currently work in some aspect of health and well being.

Do you get tense/awkward when passing by random disabled people in public?
you guys are just straight up awkward prob not used to socializing in general. i dont see the big deal getting tense or uneasy around someone who is different or disabled, especially if you are just passing them by for a quick moment.

prob do it chill and be with family/pop fireworks in austin. kinda growing tired of the whole craze considering how much money is spent and how many people are out. im always out with friends every year. i think its better to do it differently this time. ive already done it all anyway.

my traveling job the past almost 2 years had me staying at marriotts. i use all of my points for free hotels. used about 2 weeks when i made my move to california and also for vacations. to me, i think they're the best out there. residence inn is the booooooooooomb.

not a bad video OP. i think it was a pretty decent video. you guys had a lot fun and it looks like some work was def put into it to coordinate the song with what the people did. props to ya for posting. thats why i never post anything and just read. there are too many losers in OT and people that always want to hate on anything. its so douchey. half if not more on here fail miserably at life.

If you could move anywhere in the US....
ive had a traveling job for almost two years. grew up in texas and miss the area i used to live in at times (san antonio/ austin corridor). to whoever mentioned sacramento earlier: i found that place boring. worked there for a week or so. the area looks ok, has a forest feel but not much to do and i found the people there to actually be a little rude. nothing really happens there. im currently in san diego for work for 2 weeks. its a great place. ive been before, it's prob on one of the top of my lists, the layout of the city is cool to explore, and you dont have that pollution and huge ...

i barely post and a long time lurker. some have already mentioned it, but people grow up, including myself. along with the chaz incident, i don't find the topics here as interesting as they used to be. i'd come to this site for my daily dose of current news along with interesting topics people would start. now i log in and see maybe a post or two on the main page that would seem like interesting reads.

i told my friends about a year ago, but ive said that wendys will eventually go out of business within the next 15 years or so. they just cant keep up with competition. mcdonalds will always be there but others like five guys, in n out and whataburger will eventually take over more all over the U.S.

Tips for driving across the country?
im more familiar with the southwest part of the country since i traveled extensive out that way. but this drive seems pretty brutal to me, up north to me there doesn't seem like a lot to see and do. id suggest hitting up some cities and hanging out there and checking out their nightlife/party scene if i were you. this is like 5 days but this prob something id do: day 1: mass to pittsburg day 2: pittsburg to st louis day 3: st louis to dallas day 4: dallas to el paso day 5: el paso to phoenix nearby el paso they have a place called white sands thats pretty cool to check out. other than that, ...

Anyone not have cable at all here? (Like not even CBS, NBC, ABC, etc)
i moved out to LA, and one of the ways to try and save some money since i have a lot of other bills was to cut out my cable. i'm the same way, and only had cable to really watch sportscenter, a&e, and nick at nite ha. the only sucky part are live sports games. someone gave me the password to watch mlb games so i just connect my laptop to my tv and it looks just as if i have cable. i dont miss it a bit and it saves at least $60-80 bucks a month. internet on the other hand i need, but its worth it for $30/mo plus i just netflix and hulu. cable is trash anyway.

My brother's touring the southwest.
i wish i would've taped the adventures of me and my coworkers touring the southwest when i traveled all last year at my job. no offense, but woulda been a heck a lot better this these vids. involved seeing great parts of the country, getting hammered numerous nights, a hilarious co worker with mad game with girls every though hes 36

Need some job advice from OT
did you send a follow up thank you email after your interview (within 24-48 hours)' that's something important i always do following an interview. with that email i usually touch up with stuff i said so they remember you and what they also said in their interview. also, get more confidence. don't sound discouraged in that email you wrote. make it sound like you're the one they want, and just follow up with a nice brief email-nothing that sounds like you're pushing them to give an answer right away about who's getting hired and when. good luck.
