QQ getting too much action in early stage SNG I am not really sure weather this is too much risk or a perfect opportunity to get ahead in the beginning of a SNG. Re(1): Trouble with a flopped set chance of flopping a set is 11% as far as i know, and i don't think i have much more chance to win with so many limpers. Even if i could make it to seeing a flop against two, any overcard can put me in trouble. I still don't see the point in a preflop raise. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Time to gamble? well pott odds is 1:4,5 but i'm surely more behind so maybe it's an easy fold. i just thought that the fact that if i win this hand i will almost surely win the whole tourney (the other two players were kinda weak too) might make gambling an option here. Time to gamble? Hi there! I played this hand a while ago but i'm still a bit confused about it. No HH, sry. 10 player $10 SNG, down to 6 Stacks (SG like these): SB: 2200 BB: 1800 P1: 2300 P2: 2400 CO (That's me): 4300 Button: 2000 Blinds 100/200 P1 folds P2 folds CO (still me) raises to 800 with Ad Td The thing is, that i played very tight in the beginning but from the previous level i became really loose, (made most of my chips then), the table was pretty tight and passive so i could go on with that. The Button realized this and started reraising me. I usually raised 3BB and it was quite enough, this ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
