Taylor Made Penta TP
It all just depends on the feel you're looking for. If you like a soft feel around the greens then this is def. the ball for you. If you're a long hitter then I would probably stick with the NXT Tours or upgrade to the ProV. I've actually been playing the TaylorMade Tour Black's and like them just as much as the Pentas ... they are basically the rival to the ProV's before Penta came out.

Hey Y'all. Got any yummy New Orleans tips?
Go to Felix's for oysters ... you just stand at the bar and can order them one at a time if you want. It's right across from Acme which is more of the tourist spot. Check out Coop's which has the most ridiculous fried chicken I've ever had. There will be a line outside but it's worth the wait. Its one of those places that a local bartender said the locals go to eat. Also, hit up Central Grocery for a Muffaletta. You can get one and share it with someone easily. Oh yeah ... the pokerz are super soft as well. I paid for my whole trip in about 3 sessions of about 3 hours apiece. I won a $1200 ...

Best Place in Vegas to watch March Madness
Most of the big name casino's will have set ups like Venetian. I know Paris and PH do a nice job of setting up big screens in their 2-300+ seat auditoriums and having portable betting stations and pretty cheap food vendors. With 6-10 people though you would either have to get there super early to lock down a spot or I'd recommend hitting a smaller casino where there won't be as many people but at least you'll all be together. I'll be out there the same time and know a bunch of our group like to go to Bill's b/c it's not as crowded and the lines are pretty short to get your bets in. I can't ...

golf
I joined a club last April ('09) and was playing at about a 19 handicap (consistently breaking 100 but anywhere in the 90's on a given day). I play 9 holes after work 3-4 times a week and 18 holes twice on the weekends. I have moved my handicap down to 10.2. I have recently played quite a bit with a guy who played in college and plays to about a +2 at our course and he has shown me a couple things about my game that have really helped and I can see getting down to a 8 or so by the end of the year. I will agree with an above post that going from an 8 to 2 will be extremely tough. Most the ...

How many Mcdonalds nuggets you think you could eat?
We used to each get the 50 piece on the way home from the bars in college and crush it pretty easily. I wouldn't say I could come close to 100. A buddy of mine did polish off 105 wings at Hooters during the NCAA Tourney. Most impressive eating performance I've ever seen in-person.

Re:buying a new tv
If you don't have to have it right this second, then I wait wait a couple months until 3D Tv's start to hit the stores b/c then the prices on the LED will drop quite a bit. And I would definitely go Samsung. If you're like me, then you have it in your mind that you need a new TV and you have to have it now and in that case i would splurge on the LED and laugh about it in 1.5 years how you paid over 2k for a TV when they are now just over 1k, similar to when I bought a 1080 plasma 3 years ago.

Re:Bose style headphones
I have the Sony over the ear ones and have been REALLY satisfied. I fly a ton for work and couldn't live without them. The battery life is solid as well (i flew back and forth to the UK and still had power left). Once you get over the $200 mark I think it's a matter of what you like and whats comfortable for you. I tried a bunch in this price range and couldn't tell enough of a difference to pay $100-150 more.

Re:What's the worst thing you've had to wipe your ass with?
I've found myself in this situation a few times and have just sacraficed the pair of boxers I was wearing at the time. The comfort level is high and letting your balls air out every once in awhile isn't a bad thing either.

UK Golfers
I'll be in the UK for 10 days in October for work and have decided to bring my sticks across the pond to play some of the links courses. I'll be in Birmingham for the first part of the trip and London the last half. I will have one weekend (Oct 10/11) to play as much as I want. I'll have a car so I don't mind driving a bit and staying somewhere outside Birmingham to play. Any suggestions on courses to check out' Anyone want to meet up and play'

Re:Question for the OT golfers...
I gotta agree ... why fix something that's not broke' Since the new G15's came out you should be able to get a great deal on a new G10 and spend the extra money to have a pro fit you for it and get the proper shaft/grip. I think you would be much happier having a custom driver that you already know you can hit than getting a brand new base model. But at the same time if money isn't an issue and you can drop the dough on the G15 and get it custom fit don't let anyone here stop you!
