My turn steal... viable or not?
I like your play but i prefer a flop cbet because you have one over and a backdoor straight which adds equity to your hand. Dont bother if you get check raised, you are showing a lot of strenght here. I would also have made a smaller raise in the turn. If he calls, you should be shoving a lot of brick rivers. Its ok if he calls with T9 or J9 in the turn. However, Its going to be very difficult for him to call your river shove unless he improves.

if everyone is playing optimally
Now that we are on the same page, and in regards to taking different lines....I dunno...you can merge and balance ranges in lines but I am pretty sure most of the time solid standard lines are optimal. For instance I am not good at balancing hands (like checking behind with a set on the flop sometimes, etc) , but I do merge different hands in the same lines and it works for me.

river spot, vbet or check behind?
It depends on the player and what range you put him on, but in generall I think this a very very thin spot to value bet. I think its safe to assume there are some tens in his range as well as some FD and you acommplish nothing by betting. There will be some middle pairs but I think thats a small part of his range, and not even sure if he is going to pay every time he has a middle pair.

if everyone is playing optimally
This. I think OP should re edit the title of this thread and change "optimal" for "standard" or "conventional". For instance, you exploit fish by making him pay with worse hands than yours. If they play loose preflop and fold when they miss, you exploit this by cbeting a lot in the flop etc. My point is poker is profitable as long as people make mistakes and they will always make mistakes. If you face a regular who has a solid Preflop game, you can find spots postflop to exploit him.

cbet or not to cbet??
Cbeting this flop is bad because you dont have enough pot equity and fold equity to make it profitable given stacks and because the flop is so coordinated, you would need multiple barrels to take it down.

SSNL- $35K Tilt- post-flop line check in a 4-bet pot vs. a top player
I think I am betting/calling the flop becuase you say you 4bet before, maybe he has no reason to 5bet and he wants you to put more chips as a bluff postflop. For this reason, and becuase thats such a good board for you to keep bluffing I continue betting in the flop.

FT of WCOOP 500r whats your play?
Well, I think its a difficult board where he can represent a lot of hands, but I think its better that you bet the turn as you can get some value of pairs with a draw and cand fold safely to a raise. By checking the turn and the river, he knows you never have a flush and can move you off your hand.

Easiest Squeeze Spot Ever, Right?
Not this, you want the guy to forfeit his equity of the pot and you collect the dead money. Even an spazz hand has decent equity against you. And you dont want to be flatted neither as you will have to shove almost every flop unless you flop gin.

Most Consecutive-Profitable-Full Mtt Sessions?
its not about quantity but quality. I dont care to have more losing sessions as long as the amount of money im making in the few winning sessions compensates and makes the profit. Off course, there has to be a balance. Otherwise you are gonna be called a luckbox!

BB/100 hands in tournaments
But you could also argue that variance in mtt>variance in cash and this is also an influential factor.

Variance....can it be eliminated or reduced to nearly nothing?
If you are not going to post something with the will of helping, you better dont write a thing. Look at the guy´s number of posts, just 4 which means very likely he is in the beginning of his learning curve and sarcarsm comments like yours are likely to confuse and hurt this player who is new and learning.

how much would you charge to record an online session
Well to be honest, unpredictability makes it unfair to charge a fixed ammount for a whole session. You never know if you are going to make it very deep in 1 or 2 tourneys or you can also brick everything. So a hourly charge rate seems better. Also most of the learning will come from the most advanced stages of a tourney. For this reason, it is also unfair to charge fixed hourly rate but it makes more sense to the deeper you are in a tourney, the more expensive the hourly fair is. The problem with the latter is that because of mutlitabling, it is difficult to keep track of what you should pay ...

miniftops hand vs an unknown
I think when you say he is not raising deepstacked the flop thats an assumption being made given that villain is semi/ competent. But you know nothing about him; thus when he check raises the turn he can legimetelly have a flopped flush.

Do most pros hate poker and the lifestyle around it?
I can tell Gags is a really clever person by his posts and I completelly agree with his comments. I would like to add that even if tyou have a great level of intelligence, it is only a part of the formula to succeed, but not the complete formula; there are other components and the one that comes to my mind and plays a huge role is discipline. Being a smart person is not going to take you anywhere if you dont add the necessary discipline. This holds true for almost if not all things in life. For instance, just think about Tennis. Roger Federer has a huge talent and is very smart tennis wise, ...

Do most pros hate poker and the lifestyle around it?
I agree. Imagine a forum that is related to engineering jobs and someone starts a thread saying "Do you hate your lifestyle of your job", working from 9 to 6 monday to friday, having a boss. Spending 2 hours everyday in a highway, travelling and being far from home etc. Its the same thing. One life style suits some people better than the other and viceversa. What seems to be absolutely true is that things are not the way they look at first, wheter it is poker life style, a job life style, marriage, etc.

Crazy Call in the WCOOP-21
Would you go for two streets of value with a4 there' Prolly hes been aggresive enough and knows his cbet is getting called or raised a lot in that dry board. When the other player checks twice, He now can bet more comfortable specially because he picked up a draw.

Wtf spot WCOOP 21 with QQ
What Im saying is that his 3bet range is so wide that if we shove, we are making him fold a lot of hands we dominate. That was my point. Do whatever you think will get you the most chips. For me it is to squezee more chips postflop.
