Protecting My Hand Sure a cooler, but given that you were willing to put another 2k+ into pot after the river gave the card that probably beats you, it was played really poorly. The flop couldnt have been better for your (marginal) hand ie a complete rainbow so you should def have check raised post flop-there was 540 in pot after his 180 bet and u could have raised him to say 400 still pricing him to mine assuming he had 2p or a Q. When the turn gave the heart and he bet, he clearly had something so you had to push. Only a muppet would have called mining for a flush. After the river, if ypou were worried about ...
