Re:ban poker tracker
I have to wonder if there isn't another option.... would it be possible for sites to offer HUD-free and HUD-allowable tables' Is the detection ability of sites up to being able to make such distinctions' I've tried the trials of a few HUDs. Liked a couple well enough. A comment earlier that "they aren't too expensive" is very relative... they're quite expensive for a micro grinder like me. ;> And if I scored a big win, I might to tempted to get one. Until then, I also do it the old-fashioned way. Along the lines of having HUD-free and HUD-ful tables/tourneys, it ...

Re:Micro Grinders Thread
Toebar... I'm no pro, and don't claim to be any expert.... having said that... A6s is a small hand really. hilly's first re-raise was a clue that he claimed to have a significant hand (short of bluffing). With 3000 in the pot at the flop, a flush draw and a paired board, I might have checked as you did, or bet out a modest feeler bet, maybe pot-sized at most. But hilly's bet should have given you pause. Personally I try never to chase anything, flush or otherwise for all my chips, unless its short-stack desperation manuvering. I think hilly's bet killed your pot odds for ...

Re:Micro Grinders Thread
Hey all. Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Been micro grinding for a little over a year now. Had deposited $50 in to stars twice - back in the day when $ wasn't so tight. Was up and down each time for a bit, then down, down, down. In Jan '09, I had $.40 left and thought I'd see if/what I could do with it. A 34th of 3446 MTT placing earned me a $1.64 to keep going. I spent most of '09 grinding $.10 SNGs on stars. A bunch of $.20, .30, .40 wins, a few $4, 6 & 8 wins. Won a 945ent stars "Americas Cup of Poker" $0.20 Mexico v USA awhile back... good for $34. ...
