Does anyone know about the stub.exe program on the stars software? I had a spyware warning come up while launching the pokerstars software on my computer. the program stub.exe was trying to access the internet. my pokerstars software was updating and this popped up while it was updating. I blocked it and everything was updated fine. i scaned my computer and found the stub.exe in my pokerstars software. i researched stub.exe and i got hits for highly suspicious spyware. i have not emailed stars yet but i was wondering if anyone else who knows about software or computers is aware of this program. Re(1): was this a completely idiotic fold by me? this is a tough one... i agree that your read trumps pot odds...therefore, it makes it a good fold. however, u put yourself in a deep hole to get out of at this stage in the tourny...if it was early w lower blinds, this is a no brainer fold. or if this was the final table and you would move up in some serious money, this is also a no brainer fold. on other option would be if the bubble was real close, then this may be good fold. but now ur in deep and all this action has u in bad shape....and it is a long shot for you to make the money anyway w a real short stack, u gotta w it and ... Re(1): Is this cheating? it could have been an honest mistake. ie. window pop up as typing for another table or maybe he was gonna hit enter after the opponent folded. my guess is that he prolly did it intentionally. the only way to prove it is if ur buddy asked him..."is that what u got'". that is the equivalent of showing ur hand in a tourny...10 min penalty. i had a similar situation in a $10 turbo tourny at the bubble, the guy typed "i got KK" and shuved in to avoid the other player from possibly sucking out on him on the bubble. i emailed the info to stars and they gave him a warning that he will have his chat ...
