Re:WCOOP Main Event "Udon Wannit" (multi-acct. ?)
Ghosting is just as bad as MAing IMO. Does actually touching the mouse make it worse than having someone tell you every move' Also with all the coaching going on... do you think it should be required to announce somehow your coach is calling the shot this day' It's online poker. It ain't never gonna change.

Re:Ridiculously complicated poker math problem revisited. Can any human being solve this??
This is solvable using simulation, as stated earlier. You set up parameters and run them, tweak them until you maximize your odds. I would probably start it at like play top 15%, when stacks are fairly even. Ranges would change as relative stack sizes change. Example, if villain wins first hand, because I fold so stacks become 1050 v 950, I would probably stay at like 15%, but if I won second hand and it became 1900 to 100, I might play anything top 50% or so. You just have to program in your parameters and run them through many many times. I am surprised this hasn't been done ...

Re:so you take over an mtt for your friend....
At the very least, it is a staking arrangement, the original player bought in to the tournament and let the other guy take over. The new player risked nothing, playing on the original players dime. 50/50 for profit, after buy in goes back to the original player, imo.

Re:Am I gunna get Screwed out of $2,200 and have my credit F'ed up???? Any advice?
You can call the collection agency and threaten to sue them for credit fraud, and they should take it down. Collection agents don't like to be sued.

Re:How much should you sit at the table with in limit?
Some places used to take the rebet limit off when you got to heads up. I once played a hand with a guy at a 5/10 limit game where I had the nut flush on the river, we bet at each other 6 times and he looked at his cards and then folded when I 7 bet him. Poker used to be a lot more fun. I like to have 20BBs (big bets) in front of me at any time. I would sit with 30BBs so as not be as likely to have to reload.

Re:Am I gunna get Screwed out of $2,200 and have my credit F'ed up???? Any advice?
This! First while it is still fresh, write them a letter outlining how you gave notice, who it was to, dates, times etc... include in the letter the fact that they they clearly allowed you to vacate and were aware since they did this final inspection. If they sue you for the money, counter sue for credit fraud. Go to small claims court. You will probably end up somewhere half way, or your annoyance back could lead them to just drop it. Also, even if they charge you the rent, how can they keep the deposit since the apartment was in good order' I wouldn't bother with a lawyer yet, ...

Were these bins the kind with the little clamps that the truck picks up with arms sort of deal' You know they clamp onto them and dump' Maybe he can't take the boxes when they are in the wrong bin and leaving them is his way of making you do it right. If this sets you on tilt, you need to find a way to relax.

Re:getting a divorce (with story added page 3)
Hope this is a level, but in case it's not... You don't need to "lawyer up" and piss a bunch of money away to third parties. You and her seem to be "ok" with stuff besides immature crap, and you seem to know what you are entitled to, wrt to child custody etc... You can go to an arbitrator. Both of you to the same lawyer. Let her pick the one, it doesn't matter much. Go into the room with realistic views. The lawyer will tell you how much the state mandates in child support/alimony etc... Given you play poker and she works it might be a wash on the alimony ...

This is clearly not true. Player B in the situation above, for example, should not be able to push over top of a Player A call.

"Jamie ‘TheCronic420’ Rosen It’s definitely a big issue. I don’t get caught up in the hype, though, be-cause there are so many trolls that just accuse everyone these days of multi-accounting. I think it’s bad for sure. There’s a difference between ghosting someone deep (which I’m not against) and playing five accounts in the same tourney." How is "ghosting someone deep" any different from switching to an account with chips left late in a tournament' Besides the possibility of being at the same table, this to me is pretty well the same thing as multi-accounting. ...

Re:was this spot spewy or did i have to bet?
I don't like your play here very much. Preflop: The limp of 300 isn't horrible, you do have some stacks worth set mining with. The call of the extra 1,725 looks bad. 1,725 into a 6,400 or so pot when you figure you need your set to have a chance to take the pot down... You have to figure you are behind at least one, maybe two overpairs. Even if you hit the set, you can be stacked off by a higher set. I really really don't like that bet into an all heart board. Who are you getting rid of with that bet' Who are you ahead of' Fold preflop. Check/fold flop, IMO.

Re:The Wretchy Saga comes to an end
I would think this is true of all high stakes online MTTs. I further would believe that being part of this sheets/bax thing would tend to make you run more legit rather than less.

The moral of the story is if you continue your lie, and continue to refuse to admit wrongdoing, no matter how obvious, you win. Others in the past admitted it, apologized and had funds taken, bans for life etc...

Re:The Wretchy Saga comes to an end
So two accounts played the same tourney, from the same IP, Wretchy admitted to being one of them (not Wretchy).... How do you figure he wasn't also Wretchy in those' Who was playing the Wretchy account while he was Whatslogic' I don't really care a bit about separate accounts for playing cash. No big deal. Kind of an arbitrary thing from the sites IMO. Two accounts in one tourney is bad though.

Re:The Wretchy Saga comes to an end
I'm still a bit confused. I thought it was established that Whatslogic played in tournies where wretchy admitted it was him playing there. i.e. through posting his hand histories etc... I also was made to believe that Wretchy was in the same tournaments. Is the story that his girlfriend played under Wretchy while he was Whatslogic or am I misunderstanding that other massive thread'

Re:Bokus Strategy for prop bet?
You're not going to make 100K in year one. Start at a job you can do, might not be as fun as poker and grind your way up. Not recommended at a burger place or something, but even if you are making photocopies for like $30K a year to start, you can prove your way to a decent living. And I do agree that this is a pretty bad time to be starting out. It will pass soon. What is your master's degree in'
