When they began to offer bankwire withdrawals, I processed two for $2500 as quickly as possible...but nothing came. I sent consistently polite e-mails, but was brushed aside regularly with assurances of "it will be there by the end of this week." Ultimately, the Lock processors haven't been able to deliver on the bankwire methods. They cancelled my bankwires (as I requested) and I began requesting checks. Unofficial Triple Crown Cashouts have not gone well. I made the mistake of trying to cash out $5k in bank transfers starting Feb. 24th. It took three weeks of being told "the money should be in your account by the end of the week" before they cancelled the transfers and started check withdrawals. Got HU w/ large chiplead only to lose 3 AJs to A9o's. Like I've told my super-turbo students, if the beats hit when you're HU, there are worse things that can happen. Unofficial Triple Crown Obviously this will never be recognized as an "official" triple crown, but it's as close as I'll ever get. Normally I wouldn't bother mentioning this stuff, but it's best I've felt about poker since BF. I was a professional super-turbo player on FTP (m0bstal0bsta) before the shut-down...then we got crapped on. I moved to Canada to get my money out 3 days before the FTP license got revoked - no monies for me. Broke, I moved back to LA and got married to my fiancee (great timing, I know). She said that they received an update from their processor and that the withdrawal was unable to be completed because my SWIFT code and/or routing numbers were incorrect. My sister is a banker. I verified ALL the details with her before I sent them in to make sure that this wouldn't happen. If the processor was having issues delivering on the timeline given, I understand - but don't tell me that it was a mistake that I caused over a MONTH after the cashout was requested. Both were processed since I was already verified (according to my cashier history). Unfortunately, neither has come in yet. As it has now been nearly a month, I've been in contact with their support every few days trying to get some information, but they keep telling me it should be there by "the end of the week." They said that others who requested on the 24th have started receiving funds and that mine would be available soon. Still nothing in my account, though. All my documents were verified before I tried cashing out though. I would e-mail support and politely ask about your verification then ask about your funds. If my funds don't come in tomorrow, I'll be sending another polite e-mail. I'm now waiting on $5k from them (won a $20 rebuy about a week ago...not really a brag if you can't get your funds). How much does Howard owe you? $35.5k - if you don't include the $2k I spent to get to Canada in late June. I was an idiot for not going sooner. I guess I was just banking on us eventually getting access to our funds without having to leave the country. The day after I got my account verified in Canada, bank account set up, moneybookers account loaded and started withdrawing, the AGCC pulled the license. So, I guess I have $5k floating through moneybookers or cyberspace right now, too. Just can't make that shit up. Plus, I'm getting married in 9 days in Southern California. 40+ buy-in downswing in super-turbos Exactly, duke. In general, the 100 BI rule really shouldn't apply for super-turbos unless you have a very replenishable roll. These were the guidelines I used for students. Some say they're too restrictive for moving limits, but if you're concerned about the swings and loss, you're 100% not playing your best. You might not be playing losing poker, but you're definitely not playing A game. Remember, you can always mix limits, too. For the $5's, $600-900. $10s, $1500 $20s, $2750-3000 $35s, $5k (dropping 25 BI's is easy and equals nearly a grand) $50s, $7500 I changed this up on different ... 40+ buy-in downswing in super-turbos 100 BI swings in supers are common and very possible. I played over 55k 6-max supers over the last year on full tilt (screenname: m0bstal0bsta) and even though my results are consistent, swings are a major part of those games. Most players don't succeed at supers long-term because they can't handle the variance. Lots of players I've coached and spoken with have the same trait over short-term gains. If you're playing well, fight the urge to alter your strategy too much. Often it's "just your time in the hole." The results will shift back in your favor - but you HAVE to stop looking at ... As for "preferred seating" - you can set that up by clicking on the "chat" tab in the lower right corner of a sng table (at least in the "mini-view" that I'm using). I'm using my Mac and the grid feature for multi-tabling is a breeze to set up and works well with my external monitor. Crappy Jobs and Travel for a year? Tiltin, I'm in an eerily similar situation. My fiancee and I are getting married in a month here in Los Angeles. She's going back to school for Physical Therapy, but due to pre-requisites and CA schools having massive budget issues, she won't be able to start the degree until August '12. We were making things work while I was playing and coaching poker, but with money tied up on FTP, we're in a pretty tough spot. We've discussed the "temporary world travel" thing as well as going to Belize (she can do some of her pre-req's at an accredited school there and it's inexpensive) for several ...
