[QUOTE=wantCLEANmoney;5967337]u shouldnt have F.E. on him anyway, no' Unless hes a drooler of course. Anyway, it seems like ur trying to look for a less variance play by not losing a flip or something lol. You have AK for god sakes. Get ur chips in and like someone said, stop making spots like this complicated. This has to be a level but if its not: [ ] Games are dead [x] Games are NOT dead[/QUOTE I'm still getting it all in. LOL. How is that making it complicated. It's simple call preflop from the bb and shove first to act.

I mean I've never once done anything but ship it in preflop in spots like these. And I'm definitely never folding this hand here EVER. But by flatting pre and shoving every single flop. We keep all his weak hands in the pot(hands we crush). And when we open ship post flop, we allow him to fold some small pocket pairs on nasty flops that we brick. Hands that woulda turbo called pre at even equity. Like I said I've never done this. Just wondering WHY it's awful. And why this line of thinking in this spot is awful... Oh yah and it's a value call preflop. :)

what about flatting pre to keep all his hands in post flop for value. And small pairs that we are flipping with pre that wont fold may fold post flop on scary flops that we wiff' Thoughts. what about small pairs post fop when we miss

stop and go' Utg opener has about 50bigs. Seems like a stop n go give us more fold equity post flop. Utg opener has been tag. Thoughts on stop n go versus shipping pre'

Cash Players vs. Tournament Players
I know for me personally playing alot of deepstack cash games has helped my tournament play. So yes there are differences but it's still the same game and there are also some similarities. Not sure you could determine which player plays more patient. lol. I would think both play equally as patient until they get into +eV spots. If anything the main difference I would say would be deeper stacks in cash games relative to the blinds. And you can reload whenever the hell you want to. Whereas in a touney u don't have that option. Also in tourneys you'll have spots deep with antes where yo ...

soulcrushed down to 1bb w/ 15 left turned into biggest cash.
I can honestly say that I've never remained as positive and confident throughout a tournament as I did during this one. Maybe I'm finally starting to believe all the post that I've read on here from different pros about the power of positive thinking. I actually said to myself out loud, "This is my tournament". And I just kept those good thoughts in my head as I was navigating through the mid-late stages. Also deep in the tourney I probably drank like 5 bottles of water to keep myself hydrated, and had a healthy meal. I grind all the time and have never once thought about drinking alot ...

soulcrushed down to 1bb w/ 15 left turned into biggest cash.
So I was in the Stars Sunday Nightly $11rebuy, a tourney that I've wanted to take down for the past few years. So I've led the tournament for about an hour of the late stages and find myself in 4th of 15. Get it all in on the turn with AK on a AK84 board against my opponents A4 for a gigantic pot and guaranteed huge payday.(keep in mind my biggest cash thus far was $2,500) Anyways the four binks the river and I'm down to 1BB with 15 left, instead of being in 1st and crushing. I kept my composure and got a little run good and came back to be leading the tournament with 10 left and ...
