could I have let go? FOLDing to his minraise is def an option, i think. I make these type weird folds from time to time. Honestly to gawd, i open check & then folded my AA in a very very similar spot to this(flop8910), deep in a Sunday major. Im sayin, if u fear that his range on that flop is weighted towards (strong hands, and even 57 & 67s type hands), then a FOLD to preserve your 50k stak at the 800/1600 level is certainly an option. obv obv your read on how this HUGE stak {125k} is playin is key. The DANGER of folding is that his range def includes some hands like 55, 66, 99 & the 57s, 67o, all of which u ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

First Hand of 9 man SNG I'd say you are in a familiar spot there, with A10o on the btn. An aggressive ISO raise to 4x or 5x is a gud option; remember aggressive play is the key to NLhe. Folding is fine too, espec early in SNG. Limping is fine. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:15k+ FPPs... 15000fpps is a nice lil roll. I would suggest you try to build it up like a cash bankroll. I've been doing precisely that by playin in satellites for the turbo takedown (3000fpp entry fee). That mnthly turbo takedown is essentially a 200ef Sunday millyon ticket. There are some nice mtt satellites (mostly rebuys, 50fpps, 75fpps, 100fpps, etc) that have great value b/c many players enter them, and they don't make it to the addon period. My favorite satellites are the 6man sng 1000fpps to the 3000trbo takedown, which award 2seats. But beware that these are very high variance and u can ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:$9,000 in UBOC seats added for P5ers THURSDAY! Password inside Def not fair that the tourney ended like that. I propose that the 3 seats for 2.5k be split into $T and distributed to all players. All remaining players had their chance for the top 3, and especially those in the top several spots. Please do the right thing UB and P5s. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Bodog tournament interface? Anyone else confused? best thing to do is click 'start' tab on left so that all tourneys are listed in order from time that they started. make sure u click 'daily' tab and also have 'all' button selected. once all the above is done, u can easily scan down the right side and see under 'status' tab that a tourney is: completed, running, seating (means u have like 30secs-1min to still get in), or resgistering. Re(1): good news for nucharge customers I have used the atm card to wd aprox. $1.5k. It took like 10days to receive the card in the mail. The limit on the card is for $800 (dunno if this can be increased, maybe), so i had to make a $800 withdrawal, then go online and xfer funds again at nucharge and then go back to the atm for the 2nd $700 wd for a total of $1.5k. There is a currency conversion fee (from aus. to USdollar)' that seemed like $30-50 juice :-(. The conversion fee seems pricey, but the plus side is that u can get funds from bo really quickly (3hrs! from bo to nucharge to atm card). Posted in: Poker Discussion |

is 100% reliable internet possible? for mobile laptops? I often use my laptop with a wireless aircard for internet which i pay some $60/mnth. It's really reliable but not 100%. Two recent disconnects (long 20-30second pauses at times) at important moments in MTTs have urged me to seek a possible better solution. Does anyone know of a 100% reliable internet solution' for laptops on the go' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): UB final table deal gone awry - UB plays 'BIG BROTHER' and enforces bogus deal Below is the 2nd half of the chat. Basically, Kmitch24 and michaeleahci (that's me, FLEXnash) were trying to make a deal, or chop 1st and 2nd. I wanted to finsih 1st officially for the points on P5s and so I offered Kmitch24 some extra dough in exchange for 1st. He seemed to want to make a deal, but was worried about getting the money (if he allowed me to take 1st). Anyway, we played several hands at a slow pace and basically I proposed some specific cash figures and Kmitch24 basically declined while still agreeing to negotiate. I should reiterate that we continued to play the hands out ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): UB final table deal gone awry - UB plays 'BIG BROTHER' and enforces bogus deal yes, UB emailed me the chat history. It clearly shows that my opponet and I were negotiating, while still continuing to play a few hands. During this negotiating process, I pushed allin and my opponet subsequently called. I won that big hand, and our deal negotiations ceased (as I now had 90% of all chips). The match ended after 3 or 4 more hands. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I should note that I won that tourney fairly and would never renege on a deal. I am the victim in this case. Re(4): UB final table deal gone awry - UB plays 'BIG BROTHER' and enforces bogus deal dude, Kmitch24 is my opponet. He is the one who posted here on P5s a few days ago and started the whole process. He complained to UB, and then UB ended up confiscating my winnings. A complete injustice as all the facts will clearly indicate. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

UB final table deal gone awry - UB plays 'BIG BROTHER' and enforces bogus deal I recently won an a late night $25k guar. on UB (ef $215) and took down $7290 for 1st pl. However, I later found out that UB had removed $1900 from my account and forwarded the money to my opponet. To make a long story short: UB claimed that my opponet (kmitch24) and I agreed to a deal (which is false), and so UB had duly transferred $1900 from my account to my opoponet's. UB never addressed the issue with me, even though I talked to one represenative on the phone and received several generic emails; in short UB's answer to me was that they decided to give my opponet a deal, and so they took ... Re(2): UB Final Table deal not fulfilled-- Debo34, Legggggy, Poker Ho, Krazy Kanuck-- can you guys help? the schmenx: there was no intentional deception in my language that you refer to as 'cryptic'. What occured was that we were negotiating for several minutes while still playing out the match at a very slow pace per hand. As kmithc24 wasn't accepting my deal proposals, i was forced to continue to play poker. Thus you are exactly right about me pushing allin; with no deal being agreed upon, i simply continued to play. Re(2): UB Final Table deal not fulfilled-- Debo34, Legggggy, Poker Ho, Krazy Kanuck-- can you guys help? Hi, this is FLEXnash. I would like to state for the record that I won that heads up match fairly. mithc24: I have read your posts here and they clearly disprove that we made a deal; I won't go into details about why a final deal was never agreed upon. (but I am more than willing to elaborate if you so desire) You said it best when you explain: FLEXnash pushed allin and you didnt know what to do''' b/c there was no chat allowed' sooo u cld !''' that makes no sense man. My point is that we had been negotiating while still continuing to play. You cld my allin and subsequently were crippled. I ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
